I love how metal gear solid seems to have a dark and serious atmosphere yet there's walking cardboard boxes, gentlemen's magazines and little Z's coming from the sedated soldiers, all to lighten the atmosphere a little... :)

What do you mean PS3 didn't lose RE5, GTA, Final Fantasy etc.? They are all coming to Xbox360 too. Yeah ps3 is better machine and will live longer no doubt, but while I would only choose MGS4 and Resistance out of their good games, Xbox currently wins with everything else. Gears of War, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, Tales of Vesperia etc. It has something for everyone while ps3 does not.

the best rated games for the ps3 are Killzone 2 MGS4, resistance 1 &2, Motorstorm 1 & 2, Uncarted 1 (and soon 2), Valakrie Chronicles, Warhawk, Little Big Planet, and I am just skimming the surface. Plus, this year the line up is alot stronger

Ninja Gaiden 2? how about Valkyria chronicles rated 9.5 out of 10 and is 10 thousands a more solid RPG than Tales of Vesperia. PS3 has Infamous, God of War III, Little Big Planet, Ratchet and Clank 2... in any event... these are upcoming games that will destroy the xbox 360... I own an xbox too, and I hope xbox fights back, but now, it is crap compared to the PS3

Lol, Gears of War won't be an exclusive for 360 anymore. The Xbox studios of Microsoft seem to have some financial problems,so they actually sold the titel to Sony. So it's coming to the ps3 too, yay!!!

(It's still updating now and then, getting more exclusives, improving psn, etc.). But will be far better in the future then Xbox 360, but again that's a bit normal since it has been realeased two years later then the 360.

The boss fights, the intense battle sequences, theres just really nothing like it... Good valid points. All i know is, Hideo Kojima has never failed to disappoint his fans when it comes to Metal Gear Solid. The story grabs you and keeps you interested. I suggest everyone to give this game a try when and if they can.

I didn't only say COD4 did I? Gears of war and GTA 4 both have a great cover system, but they still have a lot of action. I like games where you take cover, but it looks like there is way to much stealth and not enough action and that gets boring. I've played splinter cell before and it was incredibly boring to me. Metal Gear Solid is in the same genre of splinter cell and I hate those types of games.

i think the old radar can be used in MGS4 if they know how to adjusted some option on the old radar. they can make enemy vision field more large, big than MGS1 & MGS2. and the radar must have limited battery power and player must recharge to use it. why they dont think to make something like this? i think if they do this, the game is more challenging to play!
