Vanilla was for pro's. I joined a raid few week back in AQ40 (20 level 80's) did it for fun and we couldnt even down twins because the majority of people now days in wow fail, not saying everybody but alot do since wotlk = noob friendly.

for raiding Vanilla was far superior. Someone mentions about a 40 man raid being dragged along by 25 gamers. This was onlt true for less succesful guilds. Going from even MC to BWL when it was released was a massive test jut cause the sheer difficulty change in bosses. AQ had 2 of theh hardest boss encounters in the game and Naxx was the(maby not hardest)Tightist tuned instance blizz released. But to be in a greta guild u needed 40 players appearing.

And yes, classic wow was fantastic. But for me was it because it was a brand new game and community (At least the first half year<3). And the epics did mean something, i really feel they should haev keept it that way from there.

The instances, the reason of the "difficulty" was because of people was slacking it was more 20-25 men that carryed the rest. The dps and hps from the classes was also the thing that made it hard. Blizzard could have done more to vanilla wow, the pvp scene was pure crap, doing better class balance between classes in pve. And tell me, do you really want to progress MC and AQ40 over again? If so, your insane. BWL and Naxx was sex tho, but naxx is now boring because of wotlk.

SCRUB! vanilla wow didn't make pros, you had to yell mages and druids to death before they found out "Oh hey was that my job", those old raids was just based to how many in your raid are giving their best, when everyone did that it went smooth and easy.
