I have to agree with KingKumaForever, the first time I saw Tiana and Nonosina at Merced fete in the mid 90's I was knocked out. We were like, What? Their dancers and drumming took over the show. They've continued to inspire us all with their performances. And, As for Mevina, this song is one of my favorites. He continues to excel at his craft. Hard work and dedication obviously pay off.

Its funny how far these groups have came. Cause when i was living in LA, Nonosina (as well as Tupulaga) werent that big. But Nonosina is massive now! crazy. GOOD JOB!!! love the song too.

wow! I remember seeing you guys way back in 1996 (or 97?) at the Fete. I quit drumming and dancing then in 99 and since then been so far removed from the culture.

When i decided to check out stuff on YouTube I came across this Hula and recognized ur name.

Instantly got goosebumps when i watched this.

hah! Yeah I remember Nonosina back in '96 when tiana brought only a small group and just ripped up the competition floor with their drumming. I think that was the first time I ever heard mixing like that. It's a memory I'll never forget.
