Singer is a poor excuse for a scientist. He certainly has no studies to back up his claims. He was one of the tobacco companies "expert scientists" as they defended themselves against health risk warnings. the earth naturally goes through climate changes regardless of our behavior. we may be accelearting the rate, but we certainly are not causing it. this global warming bull was more propaganda than anything else by al gore. he said so himself in the video that temp and co2 are rising exponentially. do any of you know what exponentially means? why isnt the avg temp rising in a drastic way?

The earth is currently warming and there is no natural explanation for that warming.

If you want me to believe in your creator you are going to need to show some evidence of the existence of that creator. As many theists as I have dealt with in my life I am yet to find one that can show one scintilla of valid evidence to support belief in a creator.

global warming is a fraud. climate change is real and it has happened over a million times on earth. The governments show you a small piece of the graph and not the whole graph. Real statistics show that it has not gotten warmer over the last 10 years. Think of it this way.. the weather man on tv cant decide with 100% certainty that it will rain on Wednesday, but you believe the government can predict what the temp wil be further into the future? Global Warming has been proven to be a farce.

Using graphs from just when the little ice age ended around 1800 is typically convenient for AGW proponents. You will always see a warming trend.

Core samples from over 2000 locations worldwide show that from hundreds of millions of years ago the temperature was much higher than today, and at times CO2 was WAY higher as well. There was no tipping point and life clearly thrived.

AGW advocates should keep some of that hot air they're puffing for the next ice age. Grain doesn't grow in snow!

Evidence does not support C02 being a driver of global temperature changes but a RESULT of them.

Global Warming has ocurred over and over during the last couple thousand years. (Lookup Greenland).

People, there is no warming, its a hoax, study the scientists that aren't getting grants, they will tell you the truth.

Global Warming has occurred over and over during the last couple thousand years. But not in such rate as now.

Then why has C02 increased over the last 10 years but no corresponding global warming? 1998 was the hottest year during the last 12 years?

The recent emails are so critical to this argument because they show an obvious effort to hide the truth about historical temperature flucuations that would show climate change has been hapening for hundreds of years, and that the most recent temperatures are nothing more than part of that cycle.

What evidence do you have of temperatures a 1000 years ago? The most recent data is nothing if as many earth science folks believe, that the earth is millions of years old. There were periods of warming and cooling associated with sunspots back into the dark ages. human expansion was evident during periods of warming, human retraction during global cooling periods. Look up the word "Vikings" for instance, if you at all want the truth.

Every 25 years the climate flips! So the period from 1980 to 2005 was not unusual. THe 18th centruy had the little ice age, adn we are due for one now! It is here!

@starrdreams Actually it depends on how far back you want to look, i.e. where you plot from - over the last 16,000 years it's been warming - but if you plot from 10,000 years ago it is cooling! If you go back 400,000 years then it's the 6th heat peak - and we should be about ready to dip into another small ice age!

Partly in science I don't like that IPCC and others claim the unlikely and impossible in the AGW theory, and politics use it. I think we must unwrap and kill the fraud now! Economic depression and a cooling phase would be disaster.
