GTX 260s are cheap...well they are 100 bucks. not super cheap but I'm noticing more and more that those will get the job done for almost any game for recommended specs.

@bladex2056 the Nvidia GTX430 may not be much but it does have 1024MB of DDR3 and should be fine if you're not wanting bleeding edge and is fairly cheap, the next one up is the AMD Radeon HD 5670 with 1024MB of GDDR5 and is about $100ish and fairly cheap for a GDDR5 card before any special offers. but good tip :)

@experimental0000 the GT430 is quite slow. the 1024mb is never utilized since it cant handle most games at 1920x1080 or up. the 5670 is more capable.

@nelizmastr not everyone runs that high of a resolution though I'd think. not serious gamers anyway. I'd figure it'd be good for those that mildly game or just want something to replace the integrated graphics like a 6150 chip. Though the 5670 is one I'd be leaning toward more as well. thanks :)
