I hope they can patch games through the Nintendo network. Though I haven't played any games where something game breaking has happened, it is annoying to see text errors in Samurai Warriors Chronicles, and the freezing issue in Mario Kart and Harvest Moon.

Only DLC I like is new story missions and new content, like the GTA or Bethesda DLC. Just giving out costumes and weapons that you have to pay to unlock in an unfinished game is just stupid. Good thing is that Nintendo said they will never release games unfinished, and they will be full fledged with tons of content. Their DLC to be if you want a new set of levels or campagin.

On another note about DLC, I always believed DLC should be free but money should be spent on advertising, so it makes people purchase the full game. and DLC codes would be available for offline users with the new game without a raise in price. @xWhiteoutProductions its not the console, it's the developers doing lazy ports. I've been getting more 3rd party titles on my ps3 lately because they are getting better, and i love the quality of blu ray disc because they rarely get scracthed.

The only real good use of DLC has been the Rock Band/Guitar Hero series. Otherwise you're usually just paying money to see someone in a new suit or play in a map that, with such limited map choices, you should really just be given for free

Actually Nintendo has stated that they would never charge for DLC and wouldn't release a game half finished. This was said back when they announced that the 3DS and Wii U would get DLC. As far as I know they haven't said they would start charging for DLC.

The only real good use of DLC has been the Rock Band/Guitar Hero series. Otherwise you're usually just paying money to see someone in a new suit or play in a map that, with such limited map choices, you should really just be given for free
I'm excluding things like the extra story arch of Heavy Rain and the like, those are more buying a whole other game then buying a few bits to tack on

Actually Nintendo has stated that they would never charge for DLC and wouldn't release a game half finished. This was said back when they announced that the 3DS and Wii U would get DLC. As far as I know they haven't said they would start charging for DLC.

Because the DLC may not actually exist at release, it's what DLC should be something that comes after like the old expansion packs on PC.Nintendo is going by the school of thought that extending the games life with free DLC will make people who haven't already bought the game want to buy it and they will be able to delay a full release in the process. At least thats how It seems to me.
