People are saying how funny Alans last name is, well I have always find Dick von Dikes anme more funny, just because in modern day, his whole name sounds like a joke XD (btw, love both of them, Alan and Dick, both of them have such wonderful smiles :D )
I remember when i saw him perform on some show as the MC in Cabaret and at that moment i fell in love with him (even when i was 12) and have been a fan ever since
If he'd asked me(if i was 8 to 10 years older) I would have either fainted and embarrassed us both or I would have softly sorta shrieked then gulped and said, in a super quiet yet high-pitched voice, "sure"
@puppop1220 lol i'd just stare at him and let him drag me up on stage and not realize i was there till i turned and saw the audience. then i'd trip over my own two feet and fall flat on my face taking Alan with me. lol yup. thats how it would go down. :) not to mention I can't dance anyway and have horrible stage fright so it would be majorly horrible. >.<
Scottish accent is more understandable for foreigners. Emm...I think so couse i'm foreigner:) I like English. But sometimes it's too hard to understand speaker. My Mum was in Scotland and she says that people speak very clear there.
Yeah, when he is in Scotland he usually uses it and when he is in American he uses his American voice to be heard clearly. It's like me going to England ( im scottish ) I tend to speak properly so I'm understood, like Alan.
Cool! I was actually just watching him in "Annie" as Rooster, and I still couldn't believe how Scottish he is when I heard him speak. The guy's perfect.

I love it when he quotes people and switches accents. That's a great story about Walter Kronkite.

If he'd have asked me (well the 27 year old me, as I am now), I'd be like "*meep* okay!" and let him lead me to the floor.
*sigh* Alan...

He looks so young here! OMG! Where has the time gone? :D This was about a year before I became a fan, when he was in Annie.

This is actually the first time I've ever heard Alan Cumming with a Scottish accent. Does he still use it, or has he lost it recently?

Oh yep he does!
