@TruKushKing It's a 12" subwoofer. And I only used it for movies. I know large subwoofers don't play well with small speakers, but it's fun with much bass sometimes..

@Soundlikeme fuck the haters - this system sounds killer dude. blows away my dual 8 sonly ported towers and 12" sub. ive had such a problem with my highs and efficiency of quality over time once the drivers start getting warm. i would LOVE a pair of B&W's - i heard some at the local HQ shop and when i came home i couldnt even stand to listen to my own setup it sounded so under-par!

fucking awesome! I just bought a pair of 685's and they're absolutely mind blowing(looks and sounds).

What subwoofer is that? It's HUGE! And what do people here think about B&W - ASW608 subwoofer(its 450 euros). Worth the buy?

I listen to mainly metal but really every other genre; classical, jazz, underground rock etc(no mainstream bs tho).

But I must ask given the room size doesn't the bass overpower the main drivers .... and is there any bass bleeding observed occasionally ? Whats the sub cross-over freq set to ??

@topazamp The bass is not overpower the main drivers. And that is because of the room form. The cross-over freq is automaticly set to around 100 hz i belive. It's because the subwoofer is conected to the reciver.
