It boils down to personal preference in styling, really. I for one think the '09 Vibe has handsome exterior styling and is clearly a nice evolution of the first generation Vibe. The Matrix on the other hand is just...well, ugly! What were they smoking in the design department at Toyota when they created this? Better yet, who passed the pipe to corporate brass, whom in turn approved this hideous design? To it's credit at least, the new Matrix doesn't make me run to Walgreens for No-Doze!

No, Pontiac makes the Vibe for Pontiac; and Toyota make the Matrix for Toyota.

wow that is th same car as the new Matrix. the gauges are exactly the same, only exterior styling is different. I'd rather have the toyota name.
