  • EEEEEEEEhhhh perfect album??????????

  • Floyd Gilmour once said, of other bands he liked Radiohead. I started listening to RH.

    and/.

I gotta say - it feels like second coming

  • Radiohead fans can be a bit annoying when it comes to talking abouy the band. I'm a huge fan of radiohead since 95.....that being said the music speaks for itself. I don't speak for it.

  • his voice sounds so... weird. Like a different tone or something

  • Radiohead's BEST album... and so underrated... What happens is that the Radiohead hype began in 2000 2002, and much of those kids didnt get to know this great album

  • I wish this song never ended.

  • @ikobe119 i wish it was the 60's

  • Didn't know about Radiohead till yesterday. I realized i've been deprived out of 17 years of my life, I love Radiohead now. The music can really speak to you like very few do it's like a mental melting pot of stew waiting to blow up and scold the world with it's lyrics, it's a beautiful thing it really is.

  • @assOfile Just wait until you listen to OK computer :)

  • @assOfile dont listen to @juanfranciscoh this is the best album :3

  • @assOfile some advice: although amnesiac is wierd at first, keep listening and dont disregard it or underestimate it.

  • @assOfile I saw Radiohead open for R.E.M. in Miami on Sep 8, 1995.

  • @assOfile scold or scald?

  • @schrankage *Scald. Thanks. :D

  • Always feel brand new after this song...

  • @SellTheBenefits That's so true... feel the same way. Can't imagine a world without Radiohead, it would suck.

  • I love this album so much

  • If you are a true Radiohead fan, you wouldn't be comparing their albums. Ehem *cough* @hupajupa

  • @thecooperpooper why be a "fan" of anything or anyone? i like music, and naturally, i have preferences. i prefer this song to "my iron lung" for example. why? i don't know. i just do. nice, ok bye.

  • "you look so pretty, when you're on your knees.." ;D

  • listen everyone..there is NO LIVE VERSION of this song until now.. prove me wrong

  • @bajuriphd

    /watch?v=BuY6C7xnUCg

  • @nickagga94 thanks buddy. i used to think this has not been radiohead, but the chorus realize that this has.

  • @bajuriphd =BuY6C7xnUCg

  • So hard to choose, but this may be my favorite Radiohead song which really says a lot

  • to sulk = to mope / to pout

But the other descriptions in the comments are very funny indeed. xD

  • radiohead the best in pop the best in eletronic music the best band in the world

  • The other day, I was playing the guitar riff from this on bass. Feels good, man.

  • jack dunne just crapped his pants listening to this

  • My fave abum if theres is actually Hail to the thief. They all have theri pros. not much if any cons.

  • 3 people had faces like slapped arses

  • @9t9t3 That doesn't make any sense poser... thom yorke wants YOU to stop trying so hard

  • @mdilla11 sulk = face like a slapped arse.... Fail on your behalf

  • @9t9t3

No, your behalf. Doesn't make sense 9t9t3

  • @mdilla11 explain how it doesnt make sense

  • @9t9t3

    Don't feel like it...ask uranus

  • @mdilla11 dont feel like it?.. okay then quite clearly you cant explain. yet again .. fail for you

  • As much as I love their new electronica stuff like King of Limbs and In Rainbows, I do prefer their 90s more rock stuff like The Bends and OK Computer. Some people argue their electronica stuff is more "groundbreaking" or "creative", but even on these albums they used a lot of groundbreaking effects and still came up with very creative jingles, even if it just be on guitar or drums.

  • @badskroy71 I think you need to listen to In Rainbows again.

  • @Sneeze1Out In Rainbows is one of my all time favorite albums and I love every minute of it, I just prefer the sounds of The Bends and OK Computer, just me. I don't even think it's a lesser quality album, I just personally like the rock-ier sound better.

  • My favourite song on my favourite Radiohead album. Awesome band. Even their new stuff beats the pants off most other stuff. =)

  • i never really actually looked into radiohead as far as i do other bands... i knew a few of their songs, knew of them of course, but now i'm actually checking out more of the music. it's pretty good :)

  • Radiohead simply rocks. Especially when I am in bad mood, this music makes me.. calm and better!

  • its like thom yorke is a fucking music catalouge

  • OK computer will be marked as their highest achievement but the bends, this unique, sensitive, stormy, intense, personal album, will be marked their best album as time will go. its eternal

  • Radiohead have never surpassed Bends and OK-Computer but they can lay back and revel in the knowledge that they have created two of the most brilliant albums of the last 30 years

  • @chewblued lol that's cute

  • ahhhh man...choosing radiohead as my favourite/most listened band was the best choice of my life!!

  • This is so much better than the shite Radiohead are pumping out today - the crap art students pretend they like, but really despise. Radiohead's last three discs have simply been Bontempi organs left on 'repeat demo' with Tom Yorke shouting 'cheese' and 'dogfish' from his garden every 3 minutes - complete wank from start to finish.

  • @RelativeBadger Well, maybe I would have said it a little diffrent, anyway ....you are right. But still a million times greater than the Stuff that´s on the air nowadays.

Noone can hear this....all was better in the 70ies, 80ies, 90ies....anymore. But goddamn....its just true.

  • @RelativeBadger Mate, This song is about blowjobs. Serious. They are evolving as a band.

You might not be ready for complete albums but listen to RECKONER from " In rainbows" and LOTUS FLOWER from "king of limbs", They are as good as anything they've ever wrote

  • @RelativeBadger Sommmeone's shortsighted.

  • @RelativeBadger Partly agreed. While you're absolutely right when you say that The Bends is far better than any of their post 2000 stuff, you're being an asshole when you say that we despise it!

  • @RelativeBadger your comment is filled with so much ignorance and stupidity i actually pity you

  • WOW... how did I miss this one, this is excellent. Haven't heard this album in a while and stumbled upon this. Good stumblin'. Guys got talent.

  • Definitely one of the better songs on The Bends. Perfect penultimate track to segue into the greatest album closer ever.

  • Catchiest song on the album

  • Fact- If you like Radiohead, god likes you better than regular people

  • @gisimead will you start raving on about going to hell, if I say I'm buddhist?

  • @ErnieBlackle I do Buddhist chanting and I am Jewish.

  • @gisimead

yes, because he feels bad for people who are led tactfully and stringently down the straight and narrow by sheep in a classic example of life imitating art. FACT

  • @gisimead its true because i am god and i know who i like.

  • @gisimead Fact- If you like Radiohead, God MADE you better than regular people.

  • @DMarie0824 I like Radiohead but honestly what is with this collective "We are better than everyone else" than 95% of their fans have. Its really annoying and at first its what put me off of the band.

  • @tdrider2008 LOL... I don't know about other people.. but it IS a joke. I don't actually think that. :)

  • @DMarie0824 I got that you are joking but I mean look at all the comments on most radiohead vids and they are either : a) bashing other bands b) showing how other bands are shit compared to Radiohead

  • @tdrider2008: I agree. Although I know DMarie was just kidding, there is extreme holier-than-thou bullshit on the majority of Radiohead's videos and it gets really annoying. It's like none of those commenters like the band for the band, but just for the image that comes with liking the band.

  • @TKOblue Ya, I noticed she was joking but most of the fans for this band are just really irritating. Too busy typing about the song then listening to how good it is.

  • @tdrider2008: I'm a die-hard fan of Radiohead's, and I find many comment sections excruciatingly painful to read. The songs' videos become places to bitch and complain about mainstream music, failing to note that Radiohead IS mainstream music, and basically just boosting each other's egos. It's fucking awful.

  • @TKOblue *WAS mainstream music

  • @McFro95: No. Still is. Perhaps TKoL wasn't as popular as their other albums, but they have a large following. They're not underground, and never were.

  • @TKOblue Ya in fact Radiohead is one of those few albums that were almost never unkown, Creep was such an instant and massive success that they have been known from nearly day 1. They have always been mainstream, fuck I was watching Big Bang Theory a few days back and they were referenced in that. They are a mainstream band (not that there is anything wrong with that all)

  • @tdrider2008 I mean bands not albums ...

  • @tdrider2008: Nothing is wrong with it at all, no. It's Radiohead for Chrissake, most people have at least HEARD of them. XD

  • @tdrider2008 you were watching big bang theory? then your opinion isn't valid.

  • @JPJPJPJAMESJPJPJP that was douchey

  • this is amazing it aint the worst? if anything id put it up there next to the best!

  • How is the worst song on the album? Great melody

  • Muse reminds me so much of Radiohead. They have so many similarities, even in terms of the voices of the leads.

  • @Iem2qt You need to listen more to either muse or Radiohead, because you've got it all wrong..

  • @Iem2qt I thought that at first; keep listening and the difference is clear.

  • this needs no words....

  • There aren't enough words in the world to describe how much I love this song or this album.

  • The Bends is the best thing in the world. The chords of sulk are telling me a story- like a lot has happened (an adventure) and now in the end everything is just fine and i'm enjoying life to the maximum. This song expresses so much joy and optimism with the chords, even though the lyrics are the opposite.

  • type 'won' to get here

  • I've just played this to my housemate. His response was "I always thought Radiohead were ok, but this is amazing"!

  • One of the best songs on one of the best albums of all time

  • fuck!

  • one of the best on the album

  • Comment removed

  • One of my absolute favorite Radiohead songs. For some reason this song reminds me of the Forest Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

  • @crassisdead Ha, your weird..lol.. Actually, I kinda hear the resemblance to the forest temple theme with the echoing riffs.

  • So many people say that OK Computer defined Radiohead. I for one find The Bends so much more compelling...

  • @clarky241 i agree, even though ok computer is an excellent album, the bends is just........undescribeable

  • @hupajupa

Don't forget to mention Kid A, and In Rainbows. Also their highlights. The other four I did not mention, Pablo Honey, Amnesiac, Hail To The Thief, and King Of Limb.....are good, very good....but no where as kid as the other 4: The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, In Rainbows. And I hope their next album will add on to my list of "flawless albums".

  • @clarky241 It's hard to say. I, for one, like OK Computer more, but I'm younger so I'm just viewing it from the artistic standpoint, not so much that The Bends might have become ingrained into the memories of many people of the '90s far more than OK Computer as The Bends was more accessible, had more singles, and was more '90s-grunge styled. So it could be more special to those people. Either way, both albums are brilliant.

  • Underrated song

  • a band that never gets old, never.

    .

    .

haha, and I'm a 15 year old teenage girl saying that. but I've been growing up with Radiohead, and they're my definite heroes.

  • @butterflypiano yeah i'm 15 too. this band has always been in the background for me. they're all just so talented

  • @JMFe95 Cool to be on the same page with you ;D

  • the bends is one of my top favorite albums of all time. The songs never get old to me, and make me think about all the good times I've had and the bad. Lol I used to listen to the entire album high with my bros while playing that xbl arcade game Braid. Good times, good times :)

  • one of the best albems ever made no falts what so every

  • Sounds like U2

  • @AlcoholicSemenStain Think it sounds more like..... NO ONE ELSE!!!

  • ilikedis

  • The song only sticks if it applies to an episode in our sad sack lives!

When dysfunction hits this level and the words tell all, it becomes an anthem for the disembodied and dispossessed! We are the dead, so bite me!

  • those lyrics... "you bite through the big wall, big wall bites back, so sit there and sulk" and "sometimes you serve, sometimes you burn" its amazing

  • Oh will it ever come so we both hear the gun?

  • Crackin!!

  • Four hours in a car. This was the first cd put in. The only reason the car ride was still hell was because my brother was there.

  • @thehappyhermitcrab Hahahha KILL HIM....no....seriously! lmfao

  • it's probably the worst song on the album, but it's a great song :D

  • @polishpunk911 WHAT ?? Ohh, your a fuck'n punker! Yeah, this is probably the worst song on the album you fuk'n crankstick ! First of all 'good charlotte & off spring' are not punk. Second, why dont you look back on 'Dischare,G.B.H.,Angry somoans & Lost cause', your that 'guy' at the mall wearing a 'Miley Cyrus' tee-shirt cuz you think 'that's' punk, laughing at everybody but unable to look any in the eye's cuz your embarrased. It's the 'worst song' but it's a 'great song' ? Miley's,more puxthanU

  • One of their most amazing melodies, strange that's so underestimated.

  • n l r cajeb mist bella n

  • Awesome album that this came off and this song is quite amazing too.

  • i love the bends, excellent album, so groundbreaking!

Radiohead have always been a breath of fresh air

  • Best rock album of the 90s for me at least

  • yeah apparently its about hungerford. not really sure how much beyond the basic premise of what happened: depressed loner goes on a killing spree.

  • This has to be the best album ever written...

  • nah I wouldn't say THE best.... but definitely one of the best

  • @Ajapam34 ???? SOooo, through it all...you did agree with ''manolotube666'', statement that '' This has to be the best album ever written '' . Hmmph, you should read what you wrote...again...maybe.

  • amazing song

  • i love radiohead sulk is their best song to me

  • I heard this song was a response the 1987 Hungerford Massacre

does anybody know anything about this?

  • I don't mean to spam at all, but 10,000th view! W00T!

  • Screenshot or it didn't happen.

  • God DAMN it!

  • This song is always hard for me to listen to, for obvious reasons.

  • @ezekieloak Why ? Well, obviously the volume's not on .Yeah, you can adjust your iPOD's volume..than you can hear it ...than it's not so 'hard' to listen to ......cuz you'll be able to hear it . (iknow)

  • I'd say this was one of the better songs on The Bends. Although that's mostly because "Street Spirit" and "Just" are so overplayed now.

  • one of the only albums where if I hear a song I can't stop listening to it. I can't change it, I can't do anything else. I have to sit down and listen to the entire thing so I can let it all soak in. You can never listen to one part of a song, you have to hear the entire thing to appreciate it.

Radiohead is one of the few bands where everything is on point. Every mistake they make just adds to the aura of the sound

  • Was never too keen on this song, it just sounds really average compared to the rest of the album, I think it would have suited My Iron Lung better. Just my opinion of course!

  • my fav radiohead song. The bends is a great album but this is the best song.

  • sometimes you sulk, sometimes you burn, ggod rest your soul, when the loving comes and we've already gone, just like your dad, you'll never change

  • 2:32 in your honor by foo fighters

  • die

  • lol "CAN YOU HEAAR MEEEEE!!!!!"

    :)

  • fuerte y claro hermano

  • This is a good song. It's a pity it has the reputation of being the worst song on The Bends.

  • says who, besides is there a bad song on the bends? just asking because i haven't heard 1 and i've been listening to it for about 15 yrs.

  • What???? This is my favorite song on "The Bends". What line could possibly be better than, "You' are so pretty, when you're on your knees, disaffected, and eager to please"????

  • this is my first time hearing this song..and if it's the worst song on the album, the rest must be spectacular

  • one of the best albums in history

  • @gusta20

i agree. this is totally the best album of radiohead for me.

  • @gusta20 no fucking doubt homeboy/girl

  • @gibsonman4 actually one of the best on there

  • @gibsonman4 see i didn't think this song was the worst

  • @gibsonman4 yea u got it right there bro!

  • @gibsonman4 Oh, this is NOT the worst song on the album. it's my favorite along with My Iron Lung, Street Spirit, and Just

  • I love to play this song on my electric guitar.

  • Geaoud(good).

  • Absolute tune!

  • sometimes you sulk, sometimes you burn... hell yeah! it eats me alive.. great song, great band.
