Radiohead fans can be a bit annoying when it comes to talking abouy the band. I'm a huge fan of radiohead since 95.....that being said the music speaks for itself. I don't speak for it.
Radiohead's BEST album... and so underrated... What happens is that the Radiohead hype began in 2000 2002, and much of those kids didnt get to know this great album
Didn't know about Radiohead till yesterday. I realized i've been deprived out of 17 years of my life, I love Radiohead now. The music can really speak to you like very few do it's like a mental melting pot of stew waiting to blow up and scold the world with it's lyrics, it's a beautiful thing it really is.
@thecooperpooper why be a "fan" of anything or anyone? i like music, and naturally, i have preferences. i prefer this song to "my iron lung" for example. why? i don't know. i just do. nice, ok bye.
As much as I love their new electronica stuff like King of Limbs and In Rainbows, I do prefer their 90s more rock stuff like The Bends and OK Computer. Some people argue their electronica stuff is more "groundbreaking" or "creative", but even on these albums they used a lot of groundbreaking effects and still came up with very creative jingles, even if it just be on guitar or drums.
@Sneeze1Out In Rainbows is one of my all time favorite albums and I love every minute of it, I just prefer the sounds of The Bends and OK Computer, just me. I don't even think it's a lesser quality album, I just personally like the rock-ier sound better.
i never really actually looked into radiohead as far as i do other bands... i knew a few of their songs, knew of them of course, but now i'm actually checking out more of the music. it's pretty good :)
OK computer will be marked as their highest achievement but the bends, this unique, sensitive, stormy, intense, personal album, will be marked their best album as time will go. its eternal
OK computer will be marked as their highest achievement but the bends, this unique, sensitive, stormy, intense, personal album, will be marked their best album as time will go. its eternal
Radiohead have never surpassed Bends and OK-Computer but they can lay back and revel in the knowledge that they have created two of the most brilliant albums of the last 30 years
This is so much better than the shite Radiohead are pumping out today - the crap art students pretend they like, but really despise. Radiohead's last three discs have simply been Bontempi organs left on 'repeat demo' with Tom Yorke shouting 'cheese' and 'dogfish' from his garden every 3 minutes - complete wank from start to finish.
@RelativeBadger Well, maybe I would have said it a little diffrent, anyway ....you are right. But still a million times greater than the Stuff that´s on the air nowadays.
Noone can hear this....all was better in the 70ies, 80ies, 90ies....anymore. But goddamn....its just true.

@DMarie0824 I like Radiohead but honestly what is with this collective "We are better than everyone else" than 95% of their fans have. Its really annoying and at first its what put me off of the band.
@DMarie0824 I got that you are joking but I mean look at all the comments on most radiohead vids and they are either : a) bashing other bands b) showing how other bands are shit compared to Radiohead
@tdrider2008: I agree. Although I know DMarie was just kidding, there is extreme holier-than-thou bullshit on the majority of Radiohead's videos and it gets really annoying. It's like none of those commenters like the band for the band, but just for the image that comes with liking the band.
@TKOblue Ya, I noticed she was joking but most of the fans for this band are just really irritating. Too busy typing about the song then listening to how good it is.
@tdrider2008: I'm a die-hard fan of Radiohead's, and I find many comment sections excruciatingly painful to read. The songs' videos become places to bitch and complain about mainstream music, failing to note that Radiohead IS mainstream music, and basically just boosting each other's egos. It's fucking awful.
@McFro95: No. Still is. Perhaps TKoL wasn't as popular as their other albums, but they have a large following. They're not underground, and never were.
@TKOblue Ya in fact Radiohead is one of those few albums that were almost never unkown, Creep was such an instant and massive success that they have been known from nearly day 1. They have always been mainstream, fuck I was watching Big Bang Theory a few days back and they were referenced in that. They are a mainstream band (not that there is anything wrong with that all)
The Bends is the best thing in the world. The chords of sulk are telling me a story- like a lot has happened (an adventure) and now in the end everything is just fine and i'm enjoying life to the maximum. @clarky241 It's hard to say. So it could be more special to those people. Either way, both albums are brilliant.

Radiohead is one of the few bands where everything is on point. Every mistake they make just adds to the aura of the sound
Was never too keen on this song, it just sounds really average compared to the rest of the album, I think it would have suited My Iron Lung better. Just my opinion of course!
What???? This is my favorite song on "The Bends". What line could possibly be better than, "You' are so pretty, when you're on your knees, disaffected, and eager to please"????

Was never too keen on this song, it just sounds really average compared to the rest of the album, I think it would have suited My Iron Lung better. Just my opinion of course!

my fav radiohead song. The bends is a great album but this is the best song.

This is a good song. It's a pity it has the reputation of being the worst song on The Bends.

What???? This is my favorite song on "The Bends". What line could possibly be better than, "You' are so pretty, when you're on your knees, disaffected, and eager to please"????

this is my first time hearing this song..and if it's the worst song on the album, the rest must be spectacular
