Damn. A 9.82 in a race he cramped up in. He could've gotten 9.71 If that didn't happen. It's amazing how he was able to still finish that strongly.

@CJThaSavage Ya agreed, he would have gotten at least mid 9.7s if he didn't cramp up! This was easily his best race ever!

The 60m split was 6.33. I did the original splits back in 2001/02, I do not know where 6.29 came from

@phastman1994 Yeah...they were (for each 10m) 1.83, 2.83, 3.75, 4.64, 5.50, 6.33, 7.16, 8.02, 8.91, 9.82....the injury affecting him from around 75m....last 12-13 strides he's hobbling....I estimated that even into the -0.2, with the maintenance he had and coming off such fast splits up to 70m, he could've finished with 0.84, 0.86, 0.86 for 9.72 not 9.77-9.79 like some think. This would've been the record that Powell and even Bolt would've been chasing....thanks for the footage!

@MrBusunglueck But this race is more impressive than his 9.79, he cramped up towards the end and also ran it into a slight headwind. Mo Could've gone low to mid 9.7's here IMO. He ran his fastest 60m split ever here.
