Okay I see that in your description it says This game and Year of the Dragon are the only good Spyro games, while the rest are pretty bad. Why do you hate Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage a.k.a Gateway to Glimmer, it was a great game, it was better than the first one but in my opinion the third one is better. I do not think you have played Spyro 2. Spyro Year of the Dragon>Spyro Ripto's Rage>Spyro the Dragon the rest are so shitty I wouldn't call them a Spyro game

I loved these games when I was a kid and even throughout my life have played them repeatedly XD completing them numerous time. They never seemed to get old! It's a shame Imsomniac never continued the series and that it was taken over by people who made the series awful but then again they gave me Ratchet and Clank and I love that series!

Only first and third game good you say? The second was great! I admit, I'm not sure if it's quite as good as 3. It was just the right difficulty, it wasn't too hard to beat, and it was fun. I thought that the antagonists from the original series were pretty weak though... like gnasty has like no screen time, and like three lines in the whole game.

Also, Ripto and the Sorceressust didn't do it either.

Never made it to the last level because you need 100% of the treasure. I gave up on the flying missions and started playing Crash Team Racing lol. I might dig it up and put it in the old playstation one. Brings back childhood memories, Spyro sure played a significant part in my young days! - When assignments and work didn't exist haha

I loved spyro 2, it was my favourite! I can't remember much of spyro 1 cause I was pretty young when I played it but I didn't think that spyro 3 was a s good as the first two. I still enjoyed it though. I didn't bother playing any of the others because insomniac didn't make 'em, same with crash bandicoot.

That was a lame final boss fight. I played this game when I was younger and never finished it, but I beat the 2nd and 3rd ones, which I think were awesome. All the games after three kinda suck in my opinion.

I just played this game the other day at my friends house, but he didn't have any of his old memory cards, so I ran through the game as fast as possible to beat gnasty gnorc, in just under 2 hours (although I could've done it in less because I mucked around a bit). I'd also like to say that Spyro is still the best game I've ever played and ever will play, I've completed all of the original PS1 series countless times, and I hate Insomniac eternally for selling the franchise.
