Rumor has it.... in the south west of Western Australia, a farmer bought 2 Model T's..... back in the day..... apparently he drove one around for years but his tractor was a better ride over our rough terrain, so it never clocked up a lot of miles. As time went by better handling vehicles came on the market, so he bought one of those, then passed away not long after....

Urban myth or not i'm not sure, but i've heard the low mileage T is parked in a shed next to it's ' still in the crate' sister!

That's a garage, not a barn. I just found a 1918 Dodge Touring car, mostly complete, some restoration done, with a rebuilt motor. And it WAS in a barn. There was also a 1924 Dodge Touring car out in the field, which led me to the find. I bought them both.

Whatever the case may be as to how this person got this old car the Statutes of limitations allow the current residents to sell the car to recover Storage Fees. In nearly any State 45 to 90 days And its yours. Also Maybe they Didn't come Back was because it was a getaway car for Bonnie and Clyde or some other such Person's from the Glory days of old. That Car may have a real story to tell.

People are so strange, they'll "collect" cars but in reality they're hoarding (this really isn't the case with this one, just some people who need to let it go, THEY'RE NOT COMING BACK" Collecting is fine, but some people hoard cars and stuff and will not let them go for anything, they could be a rusting away in the back yard and some guy will come along and offer them a ton of money for it with the intention of restoring it, but they won't sell. They'd rather see it rot away then get rid of it.

Oh man this. That is exactly what happened to an old 69 camaro z/28. Guy took it to a shop to get painted and never returned for it. 15 years went by and he never sold the car afriad the owner would return. Her frame unfortunatly cracked and our town made him scrap it. It was a shame.

she looks rough, but would make a nice resto project. the top looks like the vynol is gone, suface rust all over. idk what condition the wooden spoke wheels are, you have to know a wheelwright to get them repaired. then engines arnt that bad, they are the older version of the one in my model a.
