I also realized that when you hear the stories of Muslim reverts, they are all quite similar...THEY were looking for the truth and found Islam. I tried this lifestyle myself, and found that it was exacting of me in many ways; praying is all very well and good if you FEEL it but if you are doing it just because the clock says it's time for zuhr/maghrib/isha' prayers but don't feel the need to pray then it's all just perfunctory. I read Nonie Darwish and realised that like every religion I have studied before, it's fatally flawed. There's some good in Islam, but mostly it doesn't fit our times or our needs anymore.

You have no idea what the Council of Nicea was about. in general from my own experiences living in this country, and from many other muslims i know, white english people who are in a position of authority or influence will make your life hell, whether its due to dislike, a deep internal hatred of muslims, or jelousy..educated, middle class or whatever, they are all the same..so i cannot understand how these people can convert to the enemy religion

I tried this lifestyle myself, and found that it was exacting of me in many ways; praying is all very well and good if you FEEL it but if you are doing it just because the clock says it's time for zuhr/maghrib/isha' prayers but don't feel the need to pray then it's all just perfunctory. I read Nonie Darwish and realised that like every religion I have studied before, it's fatally flawed. There's some good in Islam, but mostly it doesn't fit our times or our needs anymore.

1. Born muslims particularly asian muslims see the roots and the history of an individual (its more of a cultural thing) and yes it has no place in Islam. We know western people as a whole go through drugs, violence and sex during their teenage.

I have visited the quran and "islamic scholars". Most of the scholars make references to the bible "genesis" (which is absurd, from the scholars' side)
In the quran, You will find "God has created man in best shape" thats it, the "scholars" has made all sorts of conclusions
That's why I like Islam. It is the only religion that allows for science. Just stay away from the "scholars"

You have no idea what the Council of Nicea was about. The Dead Sea Scrolls prove that the Old Testament was never altered and even if there were no manuscripts of the New Testament was never found the whole New Testament apart from 11 verses could be recronstructed from the writings of the Early Church Fathers.

@irishxxkelt these are the method of reciting not Qu'ran texts. the reason there are so many different recitations is because of the fact that the Qu'ran is written in classical Arabic which no one uses anymore. and to make sure these recitations are valid they must follow three conditions.
