@NightcruiserMA As a coach, I agree. I've a mini-table, only used AT THE END of school demos, for a bit of fun, to show the touch/control needed to keep the ball on the table. Using the mini bats to show the grip is stupid - the "normal" grip shows the thumb in the way and the pen-holder shows the fingers covering the F/H side of the bat - v. helpful ! It takes long enough to get learners to keep their fingers off the B/H rubber (don't teach pen-holder - even Eastern players use it less, now)
