  • this is a drug

  • TRIP! LSD ;D

  • EXCELENT!!!

  • Is it just me or did Lennon write the first ever drum and bass song ever written. This came out in '66!!! I don't think the chemical brothers were even born

  • @NoelGHighFlyingBirds you may have a point,i don,t know but i can,t imagine hearing something like this in the 50s??

  • Very nice. mucho loco el montage!

  • Of the begining

That love is all and love is everyone it is knowing that That you may see the meaning of within It is being, it is being. BUT LISTEN to the color of your dreams. it is not living it is not living. OR PLAY THE GAME EXISTENCE to the end.

  • the beatles are so perfect than the perfection can't belive it. the perfection could be called the beatles and everyone would undertand it

  • shit... they were really high !

  • good video!!! :)

  • very coool, Beatles rule!!!

  • *P*E*R*F*E*C*T*

  • BEST TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS VIDEO EVER MADE !

    CONGRATS !

  • @armansinlado Agreed! By far the best Tomorrow Never Knows video made.

  • Thumbs ups for those who loves The Beatles (original Version) and Carla Azar with Alison Mosshart from Sucker Punch OST

  • my favorite BEATLES song

  • I love when uploaders of The Beatles videos are also Oasis fans! :)

  • I must have listened to this song at least 40,000 times since I first heard it as a kid in the early '70's, and it only seems to get better over time.

  • That Love is All and Love is Everyone

It is Knowing, It is Knowing....

  • This was a stand-out tune when the album came out.

We all knew what this track was for, and complied enthusiastically.

    Ground-breaking, prescient, and timeless.

The great good groovy days. I miss them.

  • Turn off your mind relax and float down stream...

it is not dying, it is not dying...

  • No es que de verdad es demasiado bueno el tema!!!!

  • INCREIBLE !

  • tottaly 60s

  • What planet were these guys from?

  • @tiramasopa same as Hendrix X)

  • @BloodShotNow Oh yeah! 8-)

  • @tiramasopa check out Are you experienced BY Hendrix as well SO TRIPPY..... anyways BEATLES BEST BAND IN THE WORLD. LOGICALLY & EMOTIONALLY.

  • @BloodShotNow Yes, I know that song. Hendrix was a phenomenon indeed. The 60's saw the birth of so many geniuses: Beatles, Doors, Hendrix, etc. etc. etc.

Although at the end of the day The Beatles are second to none, in my opinion! 8-)

  • @tiramasopa my opinion is that beatles are second to Pink Floyd. :)

  • @Jjjj187 It's your opinion & I respect it, but I don't agree :-)

  • @tiramasopa Have you every listened to any Pink Floyd? You were talking about the Doors, Beatles, and Hendrix. If you like these bands i think that you would love Floyd. You got the guitar of Hendrix, the keyboard of the doors, and the psychedelicness of the later Beatles. Not to mention the Lyrical genius that is Roger Waters. :) If you've never listened, i would suggest starting with songs such as Time,Breathe,Welcome to the Machine,Comfortably Numb,or wish you were here.Move to albums then

  • @Jjjj187 I have listened to Pink Floyd, mate :-) I have listened to their best of called "Echoes". And I must say that I found it quite boring, the songs being way too long; it was a record that I couldn't listen to from start to finish. That's why I don't rate them anywhere near The Beatles, for example. But they're a nice band all the same, and I love songs like Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, Another Brick In The Wall, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Money and See Emily Play! :-)

  • @tiramasopa haha I have to admit the best of pink floyd echoes album does infact suck ha. Every song other than the ones you mentioned are when like pink floyd split up and david and roger went their own ways. It also has like really early syd barrett stuff. I dont really qualify what happened after the split to be true pink floyd :p. i understand what you mean by not being able to listen to the album ha. it sucks .:p

  • @Jjjj187 Maybe I should try their most famous albums, like The Wall, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, and Dark Side Of The Moon...

  • @tiramasopa i would recommend looking at Dark Side of the Moon, then wish you were here, then meddle, then animals, then the wall and what ever you like. You gotta ease your way into the wall and piper :p its also worth looking at obscured by the clouds :) But definately check out dark side and wish you were here albums first

  • @Jjjj187 Will do, mate, cheers very much 8-)

  • @tiramasopa no problem man. lemme know what ya think after you search em up a bit. If you still don't like them, then i can do no more ha :p

  • @Jjjj187 HAHA Deal ;-)

  • Te las mandaste con el video !!!

  • Hernan,

Bien hecho,...Me encanta tu tabajo aqui!

(Hernan, Well done,...I love your work here!)

  • people commenting about LSD have obviously never done LSD

(for example I am commenting about LSD)

  • Great video!

  • If the Beatles never did another tune than this they would still be stars!!

  • @BostonRocker51 This or any other Beatles song for that matter. Any one of their songs could have made them a one hit wonder.

  • @twinoak170

...When a Band has a continuing Series of Songs that would make them a "One-Hit-Wonder", we in the Fan-Base call that an "Established Band". They have Hit-after-Hit!

    Muchos unos son un grupo.

    NDL

  • wow buena combinacion, buen video

  • @alexbruce9 spot on mate

  • tu video esta mui chingon

  • Today's shitty music will pass, and probably get worse. But The Beatles are forever golden sound vibrations shooting across the universe.

Actually, NASA literally shot out the song Across the universe, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.

Yeah what other band can say their music is so good the aliens listen to it. ^_^

  • @UNITEDarethebestFC "TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS what it doesn't know too soon " :D

  • Tomorrow never knows = Best song ever

  • @UNITEDarethebestFC There are better songs. Not every brilliant song can be the best ever. Hey Jude is the world's most important song of course.

  • @ToxicTurquoise454 so says you.

  • @UNITEDarethebestFC sadly I think song is a tie with every other beatles song :)

  • @ryuman757 i agree, all beatle tunes are tied for number one :)

  • @UNITEDarethebestFC Lion in the garden.

  • Well Leary "re-wrote" the Tibetian Book of the Dead for the switched on genertion and called it "The Psychedellic Experience" wich John was also reading, but the opening lyrics are straight from it.

  • i wish i was high when watching this.

  • One of the better TNK Beatle videos on YouTube.

  • ?music making during lsd took theY

  • a lot of emotions pass in my mind hearing this song

  • Fantastic montage that captures the mystical, dreamlike, 'other' consciousness that is being, that is being....

  • The did recorded backward guitar leads before hendrix?

  • @dannyhood66 What songs did Hendrix do it on? "Third Stone From the Sun"? The Electric Ladyland album sounds like it could have those same effects as well.

  • @lifestraight Axis bold as love is the one that stands out in mind but your about third stone from sun..The voices in the background are Hendrix and i think Chas chandler or Eddie kramer producer our sound engineer..Something ''star fleet

their seems to some primitive lifeform..Hendrix is basically an alien cruising around the earth checking out our strange beautiful grassy green and majestic silver seas .He says, your mysterious mountains i wish to see closer ,''May i land kinky machine.lol

  • @dannyhood66 they were the first to backward anything The song I'm only sleeping on Revolver was the first song ever to have a backwords clip in it. They use the guitart solo from taxman in this one

  • @beatlebum19 Yeah my sister grew up back then,'' she says they brought in the song writing to rock music..Before that Elvis and others mostly went by a 3 chorded song formula I think? Maybe some that jazz it up more? The underground were done with it i think..Pink floyd wanted nothing to do with rock and roll at the time..Which is a trip? Oh yeah,''But they did love the Beatles that is for sure! Mix up a batch of children's books, Beatles and lsd and the you created Sid Barrett

  • @dannyhood66 Yed, they did.

  • This video and song was inspired by alot of acid. Hey whatever it took.

  • setting sun by the chemical brothers has the same beat at the start...so u can imagine how ahead this band was during that time!

  • insane dudeee

  • Wow, this is such an awesome piece of art.. Amazing, perspectives, colors, textures, movements and integration. All edited expertly in timing, with one of the best songs ever made. Psychedelic to a beautiful and legitimate degree.

Without a doubt, this is a trip video, just look at the stares of bewilderment on the faces of each Beatle Whether this footage was shot specifically for this song I don't know, but it's put together perfectly. What a spectacle of a period for the Beatles, I love it.

  • Que buen video Tomorrow never knows es de mis favoritas felicidades por el video.

    Congratulations for your video.

  • Wow, it's like acid or something!!

  • it was as if the world opened in slow motion, in an afternoon, like an orchid, then everything becomes transparent, and effulgent with light, that's the sound and i can still hear it when it's quiet

  • Timeless...Classic.........GENIUS!!!!!!!!

  • buena cancion xd

  • i have a ginormous crush on young paul

  • Thanks, I needed that! Whoah!!!!!!!!!

  • The Lennon growl on the last verse is spine chilling

  • TIMELESS

  • I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM.

So simple, and so unique !

  • i love dis song:>

  • Sabian que esta cancion solo tiene una nota? pues si...el acorde es do mayor,

  • i can not imagine a world without the beatles

  • Me encanta como lleva Ringo el ritmo en esta canción.

  • worldcitizen: read Geoff Emericks' book "Here There and Everywhere" for the real story. you're under a false impression, and Geoff, as their engineer, tells the straight truth.

granted, GHarrison struggled with solos, and Ringo had help from guys like Tony sheridan...but these guys were the REAL deal...no CG garbage like today's stuff.

they produced historically-significant music with less technology than what is available to any 9-yr-old today.

  • @dyhanendra read the book.....great ....Beatles Forevah.....

  • Autoplay is turned off and at the end of this video it STILL turns to another video I don't care to watch!!! Why s that?? SOMEBODY HELP ME!!

  • @worldcitizenforever An example of special effects would be that many of sounds used in this song are chronically inverted, the "seagull" sound was made using tape loops. The whole piece is a prototype for electronic music, unplayable live, especially in the 60's

  • @worldcitizenforever Why? Because it's full of special effects that are impossible to do live in a concert.

  • masterful.

  • Praise The Lord Jesus!

  • @shanedevins Don't talk shit in beatle's video.

  • Simply Amazing,

Hard to believe it was done in 60s without Computers & other Hitech Recording Studios.

Well this is what Modern Rock bands need to learn like Linkin Park ,who just add a couple of tapeloops to their tracks.

  • @aniqwertyani Exactly. The Beatles preceded modern rock bands by decades, yet they were much more experimental with their sound. A lot of modern rock bands stick to the simple guitar, drums, bass ritual and never deviate from that formula. The Beatles tried different instruments (mandolin, sitar), tape loops, backwards recording. They were very innovative and experimental in their approach to studio recording.

  • @worldcitizenforever you do know that it was Paul that had the tape loops that you hear, right??

  • this was a song that John Lennon wrote about an LSD experience he once had. He took some acid with Tim Leary and was having a hard time on the ride up. Tim Leary said "turn off your mind, relax and float down stream". I've been on the Beatles since I saw them on Ed Sullivan in early 64. My whole school was rocking off the ground the next day. I was in 6th grade at the time. Old hippie now.

  • @bigdrive23 very well said. I was in the 5th grade..... reaction? ....same

  • @bigdrive23 Actually, I was just reading a biography, and both Paul and George say he got the inspiration from a book that was based on the tibetan book of the dead, which he read while taking LSD. However, this book was written by Tim Leary, so he did still get inspiration from him, like you said.

  • Comment removed

  • @bigdrive23

Actually I don't think he took the line from Tim Leary mouth directly, It's taken from the text 'The Psychedelic Experience - A Manual based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead' written by Leary with helps of his friends Ralph Metzner and Richard Alpert/Ram Dass. I think most of the lyrics are from this text.

  • @bigdrive23 wasnt "turn off your mind, relax and float down stream" in the Tibetian Book of the Dead that he was reading at the time?

  • @bigdrive23 Long live bigdrive23 , Cheers mate

  • @bigdrive23 Actually didn't he get it from a Tibetan book?

  • @lifestraight You are right, he was reading the Tibetan Book of the Dead at the time, but the LSD didn't hurt either.

  • @bigdrive23 I'm 16 and I would do everything to see The Beatles live =(

  • @DannyMadFerIt

Be carefull with "everything" ... But glad to see young fellas are into Beatles! Cheers.

  • @DannyMadFerIt mee too :/

  • @bigdrive23 I heard he drew influence from the Tibetan book of the Dead. Whatever; there is no reality, only perception. Beyond that though, Quntum Physics is everything.

    Thank You for sharing brother.

  • John looks so cool with his mustache when he puts his glasses on at 1:04

  • there is so much inspiration in every line of this song

  • @smokencoke1 Very much agreed....

  • god knows what they were taking when they wrote and performed this, but it must have been some bloody good stuff,,, it worked!!!

  • @TheTrollKing123 dude grow up!!!!

  • Even by the Beatles exceptional standards this song is remarkable.44 years on it still sounds inventive, revolutionary ,and challenging. They were a thousand years ahead of their time.

  • @pearljamisking Where can one find the remix and what is it called?

  • When I first heard this I was ownly mildly impressed. Now I love it and can't wait to own this album. R.I.P. Beautiful John.

  • Well done. Nice video. :)

  • first time i heard this i was "WOW" still am years later!

  • Drugs. In the old days they helped the Beatles with their songs. In modern days they get you into gunfights.

  • This song has one chord...C

  • The Beatles - Proving that drugs aren't so bad.

  • hearing this makes me wanna get high :P

  • Fantastic video to a brilliant song! well done :)
