This reboot is going to be a fail. Just saying. Sony Pictures think they can just reboot a great series like Spider-Man with new people that we've grown to love and respect. The crowd's gonna be angry. There's no Spider-Man without Tobey McGuire.

@videozfann I wrote that comment 4 months ago, man. I have a whole new outlook on the reboot. Andrew has been a major fan of Spidey since he was 4 & understands the responsibility he has on his shoulders. He'll give us a great Peter Parker. Plus apparently the script's supposed to be good, like really good. So good that Sony is so confident that movie will be a hit, that they're already making negotiations for a sequel. The reboot is supposed to be "more dark, gritty & realistic." I like that.

Well, I heard that Spiderman 4 was to be in 2009. Then I heard it got rebooted to 2011. Then I hear it gets rebooted to 2012. They're trying my patience....

@maverickslb80 In my opinion I thought Spider-Man 3 was better for the sake of the chemistry Peter Parker had with his enemies. I liked how there were 3 villians at a point in the movie, though Spider-Man 2 was really good
