One of the last real survivor horror games out there in the last years and if you want to play it you have to import it and download a patch and everything. What the hell does a survivor horror fan has to do these days to play a descent game. Its sad what it has come to. Nintendo is stupid to not release this game Fatal frame is one of the best in the genre. I hate them as much as capcom who turned the last 2 RE games into a action game sell out.

i heard nintendo wouldnt help with the translation so thats why it was cancelled, this wouldnt have happened if sony had the franchise :(

also ff4 is the best selling of all the ff games (inside of japan) so its clear that the demand is there ! seriously i can deal with subtitles i dont mind, as long as ff4 comes and plus its a shame that happened hopefully there is more light with the ps3 move coming ff4 might cross over!

This is a GREAT game ( I brought my Wii system back from Japan last year) This game is the best of the series & scariest game I've ever played. And now that you can roam free in full environments (not like those static rooms in Crimson B) it is frightening. Anyway, even though I own the J-version, I'm still upset that X-box / PS is not releasing this (or will they ?) The FF4 graphics are half the scares and deserve a more powerful graphic engine than the one on the under-powered Wii.

I completely agree with this rant. I actually sent a formal complaint to nintendo regarding this issue. When I first heard that Fatal Frame IV would be on the wii, I was extremely upset to begin with. It should of stayed on either the sony or microsoft system, not for the wii... hopefully fatal frame IV will be bought back by Tecmo so it can be released outside of Japan so we can all enjoy the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

i'm sure you heard of BCL since you are a FF fan like most of us craving for this game. i THINK BCL is trying to work on a translation patch for it, I'm not sure how it's going to work. if Nintendo is never going to release the game, then the best we can do as fans is keep bugging them about it, or nope Tecmo finds a way around to re-release it to the other consoles. (Like how they did it with Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma.) We just have to hope, some way, some how it comes to us eventually.

i actually was fortunate enough to have a Japanese based gaming store near where I live. I was able to pick up the Japanese version of FF4. So I actually do have it, but I don't want to mod my Wii, I, like you, don't understand Japanese (or I know the basics, greetings and all that.), so going through the game, and not being able to read the documents and such is very frustrating.

I have hope in Tecmo. They have always been smart, I just hope they find some way to get FF4 to us. Keep e-mailing.
