You've got all the techniques down really well, and a good sound. Just be sure not to lose the rhythm and lose the music, within those weird timing changes.
The sound quality will be better soon! Im getting a studio designed more for video's and so on so all my videos I'll be doing again. And they'll be much better performed :)
Ill be honest. This is probably the best Dufour cover ive seen. No else who posts can get his songs this spot on. So you now have my respect. Keep playing. Im actually impressed for once.
that was awesome man. I felt inclined to check out your videos cause you commented on mine. This is the other half of guitar i want to learn. It's funny that you say you haven't played an electric in 12 months, cause about 12 months ago is when i made the decision to play almost exclusively electic. I need motivation but all i have is Erik Mongrain being too rediculous. he grew up near my cousins, I used to see him at restaurants and bars. Now hes honestly unbelievable. Nice job on the song man
Thanks man :) this comment is trully appreciated. i know my covers arent perfect but im getting there slowly but surely :)Seriously i dont say give up the electric guitar. but check out candyrats guitarists theyre bound to blow you away!!! i only gave up electric through my own preference id been playing electric of some 4 years but i could still only do the basics. the thing is with acoustic songs is you can watch the videos over and over again and pic up on different techniques
I met them in chester UK, it was an absolutely amazing night and its very surreal having a few pints with 4 of your idols. Andrew White and Pepino D'Agostino also signed my guitar but they have rubbed off due to tapping the body of the guitar :(
There will be more soon. I've almost finished learning "Song for Stephen" so when i manage to get it respectable aka listenable Ill post the video up straight away :)
Doing it by ear is always the best way!!! it makes you think more about what your playing and in the long run you do become a better player. i tend to do what i can by ear first then buy the tabs so i can add the finishing touches
Would you ever consider a tutorial for those who can't read tablature? I love Antoine's music, but I can't read the tablature! I would greatly appreciate it if you have time.
I have considered a tutorial but its just a matter of time. i dont have much time to myself and when i do its crammed in with all the practising i can get. when i have enough time i will make a tutorial. :)
I tabbed most of it myself then i bought the tabs to perfect it. i find if you try tabbing the songs yourself first you train your ears and they do become better at noticing notes and all that jazz :)
what tuning?
awesome =)
