  • One of the best songs by a great singer.

Hard to imagine that this classic fell

into the cracks. What a talent!

  • this great song was produced in philly by baker harris and young!!!!

  • Why must we destroy all that is good and decent. First time hearing this,I'm floored!

  • was somebody in the music industry mad at him and held this treasure back from the public? I was raised up in a liquor house with a juke box , with all the new hits on it from 1958-63 and the first time I heard this beautiful song was 3-14-11 ,sad isn't it.

  • The gospel root runs deep. He was a huge influence on r & b lead tenors. His vibrato and passion bleed from the wax. He should have been much bigger than he was. A beautiful man who had great gifts as a vocalist. He makes the suffering in life a little less painful. With better dice he would be more revered by the broader population. Regardless, the hard core purveyors of the deep r&b vocal harmony exotica worship this blessed artist.

  • Sounds like early to mid 60's by the backgrounds (?). Cool.

  • never heard this before,a real treat!

  • I am a huge Clyde fan and I have never heard this either. Year? Label? In places it sounds like it

was right after Clyde's work with Billy Ward and

    the Dominoes
