I think you have skip the bus part and beat Stray in order to get the other ending when Dean says that his fight is over. And to add to that, I also think you have to beat the whole game as Dean.

The only other character I could ever stand to play as was Cody, because everyone else just hit too light...and they couldn't pull flying suplexes and spinning piledrivers from 10 feet up.

Also, is it just me, or do these games get easier and easier? The remake of the first Final Fight on the GBA was easier still, I don't think I lost a single life for about 3 stages on that.
