this was a great performance, i saw dolly parton back on her halos and horns tour, at the house of blues, in chicago and she used the teleprompter also, and there was a big screen behind the audience that had the words on it also, i dont know why she uses it, but it dont matter to me, i will always love dolly parton
@nkyguy It can be very hard as a musician to remember the words to every song you have to do... especially when you (in her case over 6000) have written so many :/
Sometimes we all have "senior moments". She doesn't want to be caught off guard. I don't know that, though. Maybe the teleprompter was someone elses idea :)
Great performance, but why on earth would Dolly need a teleprompter? She's been singing this song for nearly forty years, she could probably sing it in her sleep.
