Tommy should consider acting again. He should start doing small parts, maybe even do Celebrity Rehab or another reality show like that to get things started. Small gigs and try to work his way up. I would not mind to see him in a small part in the Expendables 2. I can imagine Tommy in a prison movie or a western or a bit part in guest part on a tv show.

for a man being inactive over a decade, Morrison's abilities are pretty good considering the ring rust and drug use throughout the years. Reminds me of the early Foreman fights in 1987, as Big George still had that punch, but was still in need of more work.
I will be surprised if his upcoming bout actually happens. Every several months we hear Morrison's scheduled to fight and then the fight, for some reason or another, gets canceled. What makes you guys think this time will be different?

@BoxingPromoter1 the fight schedule didnt go off his site till the 29th of october but ifound and interview on here from the 10th saying the fight ent happeing till the 20th on nov but never no with the duke
Wow, that was kind of painful to watch! Morrison is merely a shell of his former self and looked awful in this fight. His rhythm and timing are way off and his endurance is shot. And fukk, I can't say much about his opponent too. That guy wasn't even at the level of a tomato can, he was a walking corpse. WTF, at least Morrison has a legitimate excuse for looking bad, he hasn't been in the game for over a decade. Matt was 24 at the time of that fight and gassed out by rd 2 and basically quit...
Duke needs to get at least 3 to 4 fights in 8 months to really see if he is capable of hanging in there with the "big heavyweights" today. One thing for sure is that some of his power still there, the timing is pretty good.... nevertheless he lost some speed...
For him being a champ today needs to get a lot of tuned up fights and be at least 60% of what he was in the 90's. He still can make some noise today if seriously trained properly. There are rumors that Steward could train The Duke.
He's gonna need a lot of training in the gym and really good incouraging managment. I just don't want to see him get hurt. We never saw what really could've been with this guy. Always a step or two behind greatness.

Morrison's left-hook was the most anticipated big punch since the days of Mike Tyson. Tyson had that hook to the body, followed by the uppercut to the chin........Morrison had that enormous left-hook. I miss the good ol' days of boxing. Now-a-days it's just a bunch of slow-paced guys moving around the ring like they're on some sort of downer. No explosiveness whatsoever in the Heavyweight division. And in the lower weights, a bunch of primadonna's looking for the payday. Sucks.

Tommy is my 2nd favorite fighter to watch (next to Tyson in his prime), but I think the Klitschko brothers might have given him trouble. With their reach and jab, it might have been similar to Lennox vs Tommy. But who knows, since Lennox was better than the big Russians.
