probably one of the best nes graphics (amazing the speed of sprites!!) and best music (awsome techno sound) for any nes games. it sad what had never arrive to europe, because even in 1992, most of players used nes at that time, so sure this game will had big success and rating over 18/20!!

I suprised the player doesnt use smart pods cos they really make the game a hell of allot easier (red S power up) that with the level 3 homing lasers or bomb is the way to go for most of the game, Sometimes homing and five-way come in usefull aswell

Recca came out at the end of the NES' life where devs where releasing games with top notch graphics like kirby.
