a good remix come's in many forms. it could be a beautiful, soft rendition of the original, or it could be a completely abstracted interpretation. just listen to aphex twin's 26 mixes for cash. none of the tracks sound anything like the originals. i mean i personally like the black dice interpretation better but this is indeed a remix.

I'm sorry, I hope I didn't make it sound like you are at fault! I feel really bad now, sorry; I was just speaking from an artistic point on the person who made it. Thank you for sharing it, I had actually been trying to find it, I was just a little surprised by how much of a departure it was from the original.

It's alright, don't worry about it. It is indeed quite different, though there is also another remix on the EP by Black Dice which is a bit more faithful, but I don't like it much, mostly just applies effects to the original song. Not that great. I'd check out the rest of Pantha du Prince's stuff too, it's pretty good. Happy Hunting!

how is this a remix of peacebone? There is nothing resembling it at all! I know you don't want to do a carbon copy of a song, but come on, this shouldn't even be called peacebone.

Well I didn't make it!

Basically this was put on the Peacebone EP, with that title, there isn't really anything else I could call it. I'd have to agree that it's much less a remix than it is a completely different song with samples from Peacebone, unless the synths notes are somehow sampled from the original, but I don't think they are. Either way it was just listed as that, and I still appreciate the track for its own merit. Not sure anymore of the original track would work in a club setting.
