so it's the same as the yamaha su10/200 or the akai remix 16-s20 or mpc?i mean: can you make repeat a loop not in the End point but Between the Start point and the End point? it's strange but i didn't find this information on the manual...
do you have a "Loop point" function on it, i mean a function to mae you loop repeats not to the End Point but to a point you choose between Start point and End point?
Once you get your sample on one pad just "copy sample" to the next. Then you can chop it down to just a kick, snare or hi hat if your choppin drums. Hope that helps you...if not hit me up! Peace
Thankx for checkin' my fresh!!! I must admitt I bought my mpc off a buddy about 2 years ago and have only made a frew tracks on it. I stuck on the su700 because of its ease of use and varity of effects.
thanx for your video demostration. i was about buying a roland sp-606 or a mpc 1000 and now seeing this i see a new possibility...i see also that you have an ensoniq asrx pro, maybe the su 700 is more near to this machine (the fx, the 12 pads) than the 2 i mentioned before? or maybe is near to korg es1? or, instead of all, is all of this togheter and better?...
To me the su700 got to be the simplest sampler, everything is right their in your face I use the mpc too but the su seems to be faster for me. Nice video keep it up.
Can you install a CF adapter to the SU700 ?

Yamaha needs to make some new samplers. I loved my 700, but there has been alot of advances in technology since 1999.

Man I was just thiking the same thing a few weeks ago! It seems they are focusing more on the keyboard workstations like the Motif.

Always fresh, you should have just droped in they way to set up scenes as well as its tricky when you move from a mpc. Keep it bangin dope boy fresh.
