This movie really speaks to me because I have been the kid who was always shunned, except by the very few close friends I had. And I've stood up for the others that couldn't/wouldn't stand up for themselves. I usually ended up second best in a fight because of it, but an amount of physical pain for someone's life? No choice in my book.

The girl who is upset/depressed and is about to self harm, she is wearing black lipstick, and goth-like clothes, yet again stereotyping is used in media. It is not just girls with black lipstick on and dark clothes that get upset and feel this way. It would be more realistic to use an average looking girl who is feeling down.

The first boy and the next boy demonstrate that all internal battles appear in all people all ages all clothing types. My parents never had much time for me and i felt very lonely as my second and last grandma died. After i changed school i lost most of my freinds and noone wanted to be with me in the new class only because i´m from a little village, not from the big city. So I was lost there too. 2 years later i came back too my old school but my old freinds had already forgotten me. I didn´t know where to go and how to take live anymore.
It's a symbolic moment of realization. There is nothing she can do about it now. It's too late. But she's realizing there was a point that she could have done something- she could have helped- could have been a hero.
Obviously that is what happens, because she thought about how bad it could go. And then he becomes the hero for the next girl and so on and so forth.

I'd like to show a video like this at a school I work at. It's got a high african-american population, and I don't think there is enough of them represented in this video for the kids to buy into it. Just a comment from one of the kids in the vid- I'm sorry there weren't enough black kids in here. There is a low ratio of black kids where we live but this video was just a bunch of youth/friends getting together under the direction of my friend and doing a video for fun. i have been thinking about suicide again, i tried and failed only to have a seizure...but stuff like this kinda helps cause its shows me that there are people out there that can help, i just need them personally, surrounded by girls like that guy in the video looks about right...haha

Hey I am a dancer and you guys did great for learning the dance in like an hour. It takes me a weeek to get everything perfect and we did this dance for class and it was hard to learn ouir basic moves. Ignor non dancers who just look for perfection.

I'd like to show a video like this at a school I work at. It's got a high african-american population, and I don't think there is enough of them represented in this video for the kids to buy into it. Does anyone know if there is a video like this with black kids playing a role as the "hero?" Thanks!

Just a comment from one of the kids in the vid- I'm sorry there weren't enough black kids in here. There is a low ratio of black kids where we live but this video was just a bunch of youth/friends getting together under the direction of my friend and doing a video for fun. If only people and schools would just take songs like this seriously.....I was one of the kids in school that was a punching bag for everyone else, and NO ONE should ever have to go through stupid stuff like what happens in schools.
