  • I have a question if anyone can help me. Is owning a diesel truck like this one a heap of maintenance or would it be similar to a gas v8?

  • does it have onstar

  • @MrElectronics101 no, at that time, OnStar wasn't in chevys. I want to say late 07 or sometime around there was when OnStar was introduced to the Chevys

  • Kyle i agree that exhaust is isnsane!

  • Like it!

  • Реальный автомобиль для реальных мужиков.

  • That is a Texas Truck indeed, dude, I think if I died this truck would be waitin on me, and yer right, Kyle, that exhaust sounded evil, I like that, and the K&N cold air intake looked great on the 6.6

  • beast!

  • Nice! That's the kind of truck I will be looking at getting once I finish college.

  • LOL at 6:20. Would have been histerical if the vehicle you were reviewing was actually the Jeep Liberty Limited. Wish that commercial ad was on when I was reviewing my Jeep Liberty Limited, lol. Truck is in great condition for its age and miles.

  • i liked the truck, but iperfer the ford f-350. I have a 2009 ford f-250 king ranch. I'm a ford guy, and always will be.

  • i would so drive that than the ford next to it!

  • i normaly am a ford and dodge guy but this is a nice truck it looks nice sounds nice but..... do it drive and preform nicely too

  • whats the gas milage?

  • Used to drive one of those for work.....loved every second of it. Great truck and nice vid

  • Is that a 6.6 LTR

  • how much is the truck

  • ok, why did it double-post?

  • Can't beat the '03s!

  • Thats a great looking truck. I wish only that I could afford it.

  • great job making this video

  • i love that truck!

  • just sounds amazing

  • Diesel power!

  • haha no, someone flicked a cigarette on the ground, I saw it lol

  • Yeah, its alright. It is a 2005 and I only had 21 thousand miles one it. It looks identical to this one besides the console in the center.

  • Nice, take good care of it and it'll last forever, great engines.

  • @saabkyle04 yeah, good talking to ya man.

  • @ rasnake123456789 same to ya!

  • @saabkyle04 could you do one on the 97 Chevy impala ss

  • One thing about it; its a 2003.5 because they didn't make that style front end until 2003.5.

  • I always wondered that lol

  • @saabkyle04 Yeah and they didn't change/upgrade the engine and transmission until 2004.5 and took the 5 speed manuals out of gasoline models and the 6 speed manual out of the diesels in 2005.5. I own the 5th to last 6 speed Duramax made.

  • That's pretty awesome man, they must be rare, I've never even seen one before!

  • You can always count on your Chevy to be made to last and very durable also.

  • They make reliable trucks, but that's about it.

  • This truck was probably never used as a work truck. Its way too clean in and out and mileage is quite low. Even at that price its a steal, espeically for someone starting up a business and needs a truck.

  • @Mister707Gamer new this truck was probably around the $70,000 mark, and it has VERY low miles for a diesel pickup, usually by the 3 year mark they have 130,000 kms around here.

  • Sweet Video, These are my favourite diesel trucks! keep the great vids coming!

  • @Mister707Gamer Remember that diesels tend to last forever and something with that much towing capacity is gonna be worth something.

  • Gotta love the diesels! Great job doing this video!

  • 1:17-1:32 What's that smoke on the left hand side of the screen? Cigarette smoke?

  • it was most likely smoke left over after he shut it off to start it back up again. it usually happens

  • yeah it was cigarette smoke lol, someone must've flicked it down and I didn't see it till later

  • im surprised the motor didnt suck your camera in and eat it, 5*!

  • nice truck!!

  • You should do the F350 next to it! Fords rock!

  • yo do a test drive of this mother fucker

  • "That's got to be at least a 5 inch tip" (That's what she said) :) 5* as always. You should do the two other "major" diesels (Powerstroke, Cummins)

    Woozy.

  • do a cummins they rock!!! anyway nice video

  • you might want to wipe the Average MPG next time! lol

  • 14.8mpg is pretty damn good considering the sheer size of that thing and what it's capable of.

  • and that its a dually

  • That thing's a beast!!

  • oh kyle you have not idea how much deisals can be tweaked beyond 1100hp :D

  • i love that body style i don;t like the current style

  • and nice diesel!

  • is that a 6,6? not a 6,5?

  • yeah it's a 6.6

  • I'm guessing this isn't your dealer Kyle? Either way, nice price, nice truck!

  • Nope, haha these are the dealers that let me come and make videos

  • great job man nice truck! :)

  • Thanks dude!

  • ur welcome man

  • What a beast!!!

  • Oh I know!

  • Awesome Kyle glad you liked it. Quick question, would it be possible (if you can remember) if a car your giving a tour to has foglamps, turn those on along with the headlights and hazards. That would be really cool!!

  • I did think about it but always forget haha, I'll try to remember next batch of vids

  • You can always depend on your Chevrolet.

  • I really liked this truck, sounded great and was loaded, you know me I like everything, but I was impressed

  • Is this engine stronger then the 6.0 vortec engine ?

  • the 6.0 has 300 hp and 360 lb/ft torque. the 6.6 has 300hp and 520 lb/ft torque, so it has more pull than the 6.0

  • Ok thx :)

  • no problem!

  • @devilshalash Yes, it is a 6.6L Turbo Diesel and is made to tow and haul really heavy loads. While the 6.0L gasser is a pretty good engine this diesel can easily out pull and out tow the 6.0L.

  • NICE

  • Thanks!

  • I am not a fan of the duramax but there is no arguing that this is a very nice truck

  • Yeah it was a really nice one! What's you're favorite and why? Just curious because I'm not that educated on diesels lol, I have more powerstroke and cummins coming.

  • For me its cummins all the way just because im a dodge guy but powerstrokes have there problems and so does duramax but i never hear anything major with the cummins there all around reliable and able to work at the same time lol. i like the ford and chevy trucks as well but not a big fan of the duramax or powerstorkes as much

  • I gotcha well that's cool, I have a 1999 Cummins 2500 coming up today then a 96 powerstroke tomorrow, awesome trucks.

  • @trep27 I actually have the cummins coming tomorrow probably, I had an error with the video file and have to re-make it!

  • Awesome! Great car! 5/5

  • Thanks!!

  • Damn that truck is HUGE!! It's still sweet though

Btw Kyle, I made a fan page of you on facebook so it would be great if you joined it and told other people to join it too in the next video! If you don't like it then I'll just delete it.

Just search for your name on facebook and the fan page should come up.

  • What I meant was you YOUTUBE name

  • Haha yes it was a very big truck! Thanks man! I actually did make a facebook too but haven't published it yet, still on the fence of making them but that's cool if you want to keep it up and spread the word!

  • Whoa your a 20 year old college student and you didn't even facebook, you should have one man. It's a great way to stay in touch with people!

Anyway when you do make your account be sure to friend me :) Well it's hard for me to spread it, you can tell people to become a fan if you want to, no pressure.

Also wanted to say congrats on ALMOST 2000 subscribers! Take care.

  • Oh I have a facebook haha, I already wrote on the wall of the group, I'll make a shout out next video, I'm excited to seeing it develop over time, I posted some stuff for you to see regarding it. Thanks bro!!

  • Yeah me too dude, hopefully we can get all of your YT subscribers onto that FB page, would be awesome. When I finish my exams I'll be sure to develop it further, add a picture etc. Do you prefer if the group is in your hands? I can just delete the group and you make it yourself. Whatever works for you.

  • Ummm idk if it really matters, can I be added as an administrator or is that just with groups? I think it would be fine for you to keep it since I stay so busy, you all can keep it up and I can just post updates and links for new videos and all that stuff. I think it'll work out that way, we'll see how it goes!

  • Ah ok that's a good idea, I just put you as an admin so you can do changes as well. You and me both man, it's my last year of high school. I'm surprised no one thought of this idea before :P

Also we can use this page for updates, since you deleted your twitter I believe.

  • ok that just answered my questions I posted on the page haha, that sounds good to me! yeah I did delete it, too much confusion and I'm sure people will be more inclined to do facebook
