The right elbow pulling back reminds me of the medicus chipping move they teach.I tried it in both short game & full length swing. Its the perfect cocktail for a shank lol.I'll try out your crossbow & see what heppens :) I have a tendancy to get way to flat at the top so lord knows whats gonna happen with this move :X
Martin, Another great video. Sam Snead had a poer lawnmower drill that was similiar to the bow part but not the crossbow. I like yours better. Do you have any drills to work on the crossbow. I can do the bow part fine and it feels great. Please let me know the next time you do a clinic in either NO. Ca or Nv. I really want to attend. Thanks.
Mark
P.S. Your putting vidoes are great. I really like the feeling of the swing.
Martin, Another great video. Sam Snead had a power lawnmower drill that was similiar to the bow part not the crowwbow. I like your concept better. I am late to dinner on all your great instruction. Can you direct me to the beginning so I can get caught up on all the terms. I see you are also on golfwrx. Let me know when you have a clinic in either NO. CA or NV. I really want to attend. Thanks.
Great stuff here and so simple. Sam Sead had a power lawnmower drill which was a drill where you were starting a lwanmower and you right arm moved back on a 45 degree angle on the bs and the same on the ds. Let me know when you have a clinic in my area. Northern NV or CA. I would really like to attend. I feel like I am late learning about your theories when it comes to many of your golf terms. Can you direct me towards the beginning of all this great instruction. Thanks.
Mike, Awesome way to show/feel it. Im coming off a si joint/psoas muscle injury to my right side. I haven't been able to swing for 2 years. Doc cleared me, So i started back y-day and hit today as well. i am pretty sore and weak, but no pain. location: quads/core/ lats and upper abs. Should that be expected? Yesterday, I had much more distance and today I just felt like a worn out rubber band ; ). On the positive note all balls were accurate just missing distance/spring! THANKS!
Fantastic teaching Mike - lots of things/drills I had never thought of before. And explained simply. I have a flattish swing and have been trying to swing more out and up - now I see how I can change things to suit my own style. One small question is that though my flat swing is great for power the changes / improvement i find in a more "out there" swing is more control of direction on short irons and chip shots. Thanks for posting:)
You have great info and a sweet swing. I cant quite hear what you said though about tigers right elbow. Did you say it is moving towards his leg or his left? Thanks
I also like the clips of Moe and Tiger, then you explaining and showing it! I think I am leaning towards how Tiger keeps it in front of him as his right side is going back.
