It also doesn't matter if the other team was sniping or not, there is a reason they didn't only put snipers in the game. I am a sniper myself, but if someone has a better/different means of killing and going for the objective, then use that strategy. Sniping may be the "cool" thing to do, but there is no rule that says everyone must snipe.
