The results really saddened me last night.. I voted Conservative, but to have so many idiots vote for NDP and grab the official opposition from the Liberals is just unbelievable.

@Eliterate it was impossible to guess costs of up keep on a jet that hadnt flown yet, the first production f-35 just rolled off the line for the United States, the Eurofighter and Rafaele are no where near as capable as the JSF. No western Country will ever buy the J1 or any mig/sukoi. Harper has delt with the worst ecnomic reality since the great depression he has done very well. as for his tough on crime i would rather lock criminals up and pay more than have rapists on the streets.

Canada can thank a strong banking system (which was upped even more under the Martin government). Our crime rate has been declining for YEARS, and now with all these new laws, watch it soar.

I don't think it has ever happened where we have had the same party in government in both levels at the same time. So as it stands now, expect at least a Liberal minority in Ontario this October unless something drastically changes in Ottawa.

Met him (Ignatieff) on the "Canada Line" going from YVR to some muckety muck conference in downtown Van. Seriously if I can feel like I've got more persona and presence then somebody who wants to run Canada then they probably shouldn't be facing down World Leaders on behalf of the Maple Leaf. Which is sad because Harper's a tool who wanted to follow W. down the drainpipe into Iraq. Fortunately Jean C. was in charge at the time. Oh, Liberal party where are you ?
