were being milked like a cow we are tax slaves .why do we pay tax where does are tax go? to the loans are govement took off privately owned central banks ,97%of money is on a coumpter screen and they print it or just put it on a screen, out of tin air ,and they then charge us interest on it ,we should be mad as hell with these ppl when god gave us earth so we could provide for each other
I applaud the decision by President George Bush to release another $200 million of food aid to help combat the mounting food crisis in the third world.
I am pleased that Mr. Bush has restated his commitment to helping the poor and needy of the world. The press release also notes that the American food aid program delivered more than $1 billion in food aid in 2007.
Perhaps instead of building more palaces the Emirate countries should consider doing more for their poor neighbors.
$200 million????? Cmon, thats what Americans probably spend on coffee for a day! Youre going to need a lot more than that to combat world hunger, a global epidemic which shows absolutely no signs of abating. Mr.Bush, who you applaud so well is one of the reasons why theres increased world hunger in the first place. Just take a look at all of the devestating free trade deals that he enforces throughout the world. Look at the huge financial institutions that he basically controls.
PPL Africa looks doomed!! How sad!! It seems like population control to me! PPL cant even get food or water!! WHY??? Its to complex to sit and wonder...we need to do something now!! Im thinkin os starting a charity..let me know!!! If u got heart
Making bio-fuel from grain crops to pump into gas guzzling SUV's is a triple obscenity. Yet is is happening. The American public has now pretty much forgotten about Africa since Mogadishu and the bombing of its embassies in Nairobi, Tanzania and Dar es Salaam.
The war-torn parts of Africa have been see-sawing between starvation and famine for the longest time. Without the goodwill of the American people there is scant hope for these poor starving people this time around.
says who? We own the world! We just let you live here. Biggest gun always wins the fight. Don't go telling me you Euro's have guns. Your people have cut defense budgets for 20 years now. You are at the point were Russia threatens you with 30 year old weapon systems. What a joke europe has become.
In a hole? Yes we have lived the good life for the last 15 years or so. This little correction will be over in a year or 2. then its back to the good life. Remember we have more than one kind of gun pointed at the worlds head.
I doubt that the millions of of bankrupt Americans would agree with your assessment of the last fifteen years. Not to mention the millions of sub-prime mortgage holders queueing to join their ranks. Also, you seem to be asserting that the rest of the world is being held hostage to the military might of the USA - my first question is why would you think this is so?, and secondly what do you think holding the world hostage will achieve?
People were dumb to get involved in sub-primes that include several EU banks (UBS); many Americans have to learn the hard way. So this should show you that we are hard on failure. We have more than just the military might. We have great economic, cultural and science powers. Just look around you at how many American cultural and material inventions you have. We own you and you don't even know it. At lest the Arabs have some idea, but it will be the death of them.
Repeating a fallacy does not improve its worth no matter how many times you repeat it, and the 'pwnage' statements you keep repeating hint of a 'fanboy' mentality. Much like the company security guard in charge of the car-park who thinks and acts like he owns the whole place. By the way, what you call 'culture' the rest of the world calls 'a joke'.
PS. I sold a sizable chunk of 'your world' last week - should I just send the money direct to the IRS or will you be round to plunder it later ;-)
NO need, I will take from you in the markets like all good capitalist do. So I am a "fan boy"? I can look at the score board. Look at the last NATO meeting. We won our missile bases, more NATO troops for Afghanistan and by rejecting Ukrainian / Georgia you pushed them closer to the US. So much for the new European unity. Ask your self when was the last time any one has stood in our way? Climate controls, ABM treaty we rejected them. UN has become one big joke with no power.
The content of your messages and your predilection for tilting at windmills makes me think that the box you claim to think outside of still contains the well worn toy soldiers and GI Joe comics from your youth.
Did someone say 'Missile Shield'? Or was it 'All your bases are belong to us'
attack me all you want. the truth is the truth. The UK can barly field a armoured brigade and the UK is a military power in europe? what was the greatest UK invention in the last 10 years? you don't even export great rock bands any more. what has happen to you people. Maybe when the Islamist take over they can do better.
Priceless. After initiating this little war-of-words you now claim that it is me attacking you. How very American of you. Sounds like you are quaking in your jackboots over the peaceful enlargement of Europe.
Remember this all started when I pointed out the fact that the USA is funding all its military might (toys) with the inheritance of its children.
Ever read Gibbons Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire? Try switching 'Roman' for 'American' as you read it to reveal my world-view.
we have no out side threats. so Rome is a poor example. Also Rome lasted 1000 years, 2000 if you count the east as Roman more greek I would say. Our toys have proven them selves to be very affective. Some the new robotic systems are quit amazing check out "big dog" on you tube. UAVs and the new auto gun platforms are performing well. Mix this with our new high speed chips! Oh yeah I like my jackboots they look good on other peoples throats.
With 95% of the US population armed to the teeth an actual invasion is obviously unfeasible. The main threat to American expansionism comes instead from within. The growing disparity between your rich and poor can only grow wider unless the USA reins in its generals and diverts military funding to develop the inner cites.
Gang warfare is at an epidemic state - and well armed and ruthless gangs at that. Don't you think its about time you turned some of your swords into plowshares?
The robotic mule is as you say amazing, as are your UAV's yet you are still side-stepping my main issue - namely that all that research costs money - money that the USA cannot afford. Your answer is simply to print more dollars which devalues your currency still further.
With so much of your country owned by international investors it seems the only way out of this economic quagmire is nationalisation. Your silly government was only one step away from selling its ports to its enemy last year.
I offer the example of Rome because of the effects that its collapse had on the world. If I were in fact nationalistic myself I could make the argument that the Europe you so readily disparage has succeeded in re-uniting the Eastern and Western arms of the Roman Empire.
America still has the largest undefended borders in the world, and your foolish plans to stem the immigrant tide on your southern border will fail as surely as the Berlin Wall.
Why? you can never be defeated if you never give up. Europe has its own issues with immigration. Ours have euro/christian roots at the very least. In 20 years you will have Sharia law in your country. why? no babies being born. Arab women having 5-6 at a time. all living on your taxes. don't take my word for it look up your own demographics. Case in point I have 3 children with 3 of my friends have 3-4 children each, none with less than 2. You have the immigrant not us.
It moves when the US say it moves. Look at poor Darfur UN / EU/ AU mission can't get off the ground. We support the mission, but will not put our forces in their or lead it. So the whole mission just grinds to a halt, reminds me of the balkans.....ect....ect
In the US the price of wheat is so high that we have documented incidents of silos being robbed by the truck loads.
The price of corn and wheat are going up because of rising farm land prices and the addition of farmers cultivating crops for alternative fuel purposes.

Did he just say that wheat prices have doubled from $ 100 a ton to $ 200 a ton ?!!!!
Somehow it does not seem right; I would have imagined that a TON of wheat would cost a lot more.

Population control through better education is the answer.
neotoy 3 years ago 3
100% true.
Point is > your stomach has a stronger voice than your brain.
But: It takes only about ONE better educated generation to break the devilish chain.
That´s the responsibility of all richer countries.
We have to pay for it, even if that means a lower life standard.
More equality has to begin NOW!
peach1981 3 years ago
lower standard of living? OK you go first then I wont have to worry about it. shit for brains.
lproth 3 years ago
Thanks, I already did that.
I.e. I sold my car and now my health is more stable than ever due to additional movement on my mountainbike. :)
I need to less work, beacause there´s less to pay for = more free time for important mental issues. ;)

fine if it works for you, go for it. I well continue to build wealth and take care of number one.
