don't know if i have it or not.... def could not do first exercise.... in my fifties and raking golf bunkers every day.(hard work).. after work and during i get a stinging pain opposite side of my elbow...just below centre... when i sleep its awful ... i suffer with AS...... Thanks..
@fairhillnorrie Hi was it the elbow bending that you could not do? When you say opposite side of elbow - where do you mean? If you stand with arm by your side with palm facing forward - is it the inside or outside of your elbow? By AS do you mean ankylosing spondylitis? Thanks
@diyinjuryrehab thanks...yes anklosing s.. by the opposite side i mean if i put my hand out straight in front of me (palm facing up).... the centre of my arm about 2 inches below my joint....
@fairhillnorrie on the face of it that sounds more like your Biceps tendon rather that Tennis Elbow. Keep your wrist and hand relaxed and bend your elbow to 90 degrees, palm facing up. From there place your other hand on your forearm and pullup against it using your Biceps. Does that cause your pain? You may be more susceptible to pain here due to your AS but that does not change what you need to do!
@diyinjuryrehab yes it dose... thank you so much...ill see my doc.. with AS nothings easy....have the god dam thing 30 years but thankfully not at all as severe as some people....had 4 milogrammes back then and back surgery for disc.... if i was a dog i would be put down... thanks so much..
