When was this version released?? I was looking all over the place for this. And what version is this? I watched this years back on television but can't find it anywhere else..
this is the trailer for the tv version of Journey To The Center of The Earth. the one your thinking of is Journey To The Center of The Earth 3D and that was released July 11 in theaters. and yes, it does have the guy from "the mummy" and the boy from "bridge to terabithia". its out on DVD now in USA, im not sure if it is out in Australia.
Why bother making this re-make of a re-make ? I'm sorry RHI, but your latest version of this movie is almost exactly the same as the Hallmark version was just a few short years ago. Heck, even some of the exact same dialoge was taken from the their's almost verbatim. So sadly, your's is none different, nor better, than their's. So again, why bother ? You should have gone back to the original Jules Verne story and re-made something new and interesting from his account rather than from Hallmark's.
This film is a TV remake of one that was produced by the same company a few years previously...same title....different actors! Treat Williams and Brian Brown played two of the leading roles... as well as Jeremy London. The first film was a bit better...but no classic like the 1959 theatrical version with James Mason and Pat Boone ( who sang way too much).
ok this is not the oringinal movie of jorney to the center of the earth and i do not like it when they do that do a different movie but they make the tittle different i hate it when they do that hate it hate it hate it hate it and one more thing i do not like the plant acting in the movie jorney to the center of the earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discovery and Evergreen own Meteor studios and are American companies, Meteor was incorporated in Canada. Walden paid Meteor in full. Meteor stiffed the artists, and went bankrupt last week. Does not make it right, or just, and WE ARE doing something about it. The effect it had on Montreal's fx business has received the attention of not only future post production projects but the media as well.
