They always had to bash religion and act like they were intellectually superior. It's a great book and everyone should read it and even though it's old, it's still the best "Atheist" book. Another book that is inspired by Smith's but isn't officially an "Atheist" book is Michael Shermer's "Why Darwin Matters".

I was raised Christian. we went to church every sunday, but now im older and i dont go to church that much anymore, but i still have faith. Parents force this stuff into their kids because they think its the right thing for their children. Wouldnt you do the best thing for your kid?
