Ultimate glitch code (game genie) Sonic the hedgehog 3

i quit playing this game years ago (or 2 weeks after uploading this video) but i have to admit that i got this glitch by putting a wrong code on the game genie thing and it all messed up when i tried

i remember doing something similar to this about 15 years ago with the real game genie and sonic 3.

whats happening is that the sprite sheet is is reverting back to its compressed state.

i suck at explaining, but if youve ever tried making your own games or hacking others games, you would understand.

@SkemeKOS So close :) FFFF0A:0004 from what I could find, is an Animation set marker (I think it was ani.set-ffff0:xxxx)

Inserting FFFF0A:0004 causes the game to lose track of the anim.set and causes it to use another instead.

String corruption at it's finest :)

There's a code that allows you to chose Knuckles in the sonc 3 alone game. Very similar thing happens.  Just die and then everything comes back to normal.. Sorta. not really
