I really respect you for doing this, as someone also interested in donating to charity. Morale really helps victims / families / friends cope.

How long did it take you to grow it out to the required length? I would've considered LOL, but 1: I'm a guy and 2: my hair is extremely short (but thick) and grows very slowly... It might not be worth the bother if there are more appropriate charities around that I can donate to more effectively. Something more personal than money would be nice though :/
