  • You rode the coffin beautifully. What place did you come in?

  • Kaye just looks so happy going cross-country. One can fell her change as soon as she sees the jump. And the higher the better! You really made her happy!

  • not to be mean but i am sooooo scared of eventing edspecially cross country. I don't know why though it looks so fun and yet the timesi tried it i had very bad experiences so I stick to Hunters and equitation

  • awh, well being able to enjoy something like cross-country is all about doing it safetly and only doing what you're comfortable with... when I started I did a bunch of fun schooling shows with x-c jumps that were about a foot tall - it's a great way to have fun and learn to be comfortable jumping outside of the confines of an arena!

  • lookin good!

  • good job =]

  • you guys looked great congrats!!!

  • You 2 r really good togehter. :) Did you know you were in the Bit of Britain calologe? lol Anyway, I was wondering, may I please use some of your xc videos?

  • wow, this is pretty good riding! I dont ride cross country because it scares me, but that was pretty damn good!

  • Hi i just wondered how big and hol old the horse your riding in this video is? sorry if it was inappropriate to ask,

fantastic riding also =] and good choice of music,

    x

  • She's 16 years old at the time, and 16.1h tall

  • I was just wondering ..I see so many different horses that you are riding on your video's and I was wondering do you ride for someone or get hired or whatever? Thanks!

  • yep, i used to ride for a couple of different owners... never owned my own horse : )

  • that was just lovely! And that mare has some spunk in her! I loved watching it!

  • wow!! that was one of the best prelim runs i have seen! no joke! let me know if this horse is ever for sale =]. how many horses do you event?

  • hah thanks :D that mare is spectacular, dont think she'll ever be for sale, she's pretty special (and 17 this year!).

i actually stopped eventing this season because i'm leaving for college in Arizona next month and it wasnt fair to just leave the horses and owners so abruptly... but when i evented in the last few years i had a string of 3-6 running, usually taking two or three per event. i was very, very lucky considering i've never owned my own horse

    thanks for the compliment!

  • hey im going to the horse park in a week for pony club nationals and i was just wondering what the novice course was like

  • it's nice, it'll probably be a solid novice level course since it's a championship event

  • hi!!do you know denise adomines?she rode dine with the devil at champagne run.

  • nope, sorry i don't know her

  • you look like a really solid rider!!! gorgeous and ground-covering horses!!! lol. Congratulations!

  • OMG u r so good! i hate x-country just because im so scared of those HUGE jumps! the highest i ever got was novice.you look AWsome!

  • great jumping!!! i love your horse<3

  • hey well im in texas ,but i ride w/ mike huber he lives right down the street from me! well i found a nice thoroughbred mare off a race track in Louisiana i bet if u r experianced enough u could look at some nice track horses. most of them have good eventing potential

  • yeah, most of the horses i evented were OTTB's.

  • wow. what level are you? Those jumps are huge! How high are they? You are a fabulous rider and you have a fabulous horse too. He looks really happy and like he really wants to go.

  • thanks :) this particular course was Preliminary level, which maxes at 3'7". i personally have ridden through the Intermediate level, which is 3'9"

  • Okay thanx! But I can't exactly go that far. I am getting my first horse and my instructor thinks that you shouldn't go that far for a first horse. I am in Ohio so atleast I am close to the horse park to compete!

  • do u have any horses for sale that have eventing experience?

  • haha not me personally, im actually going to be taking a few years off to go to college. i could give you the name of a few people, though, if you were willing to come out to western PA :P

  • I found what song this is! Thank you so much! I love Cake now! The band and the food!

  • Great ride! Enjoy watching you & K. Great team. It was SOOO HOT that day!! 95+ w/o humidity! Curious who you ride with? I'm in Area VIII too. Spoiled b/c we're only about 1hr from KYHP...Hope 2007 is fab for you too! See you at the events...

  • at 1:24, I luv it b/c you get such a big spot. I luv it when my horse gets a really big spot before the jump b/c it is just so much more fun for some strang reason

  • Real nice, Champane Run is a tricky event too. What level was this?

  • this was Prelim, and I had another horse in the Intermediate. i really, really loved the courses. the KHP always holds nice events :)

  • Beautiful course! You seem to have a good sense of your horse's rhythm... you work really well together. : )

  • Hi again! I was just wondering, when you are doing the cross-country, do you pass any of the rolex fences?

  • hello :) i do indeed pass some of the rolex fences... i'd have to look through this particular video again to see if any are on the part of the course that it shows

  • hello :) i do indeed pass some of the rolex fences... i'd have to look through this particular video again to see if any are on the part of the course that it shows

  • What a beautiful facility.Where abouts is it? Thanks

  • It's at the Kentucky Horse Park -- Lexington, KY

  • I think it's pretty similar in North America, but I'm not sure. For Quebec, there's the following levels : Starter (2'9"), Pre-Training (3' to 3'3"), Training (3'3" to 3'6"), Preliminary (3'6" to 3'9"), Intermediate and finally Advanced. I'm not sure of the heights for the two last ones.

  • Hi I was wondering how many levels in eventing are there, and what are there?

  • nicely done!! how do u not get lost???

  • hahahaha funny you should ask... i have this thing, where sometimes i do get lost! but in Eventing you're allowed to walk the courses on foot as many times as you want, so its not too bad

    and thanks!

  • you did awesome! Your horse loves his job!! You could go advanced! Who was singing the song b/c i liked the song

  • Thanks :D I do believe that song is by either Beck or Cake... sorry i couldnt tell you which, i seriously looked through all the songs i have by each and can't find it! lol thats gonna bother me now :P

  • beautiful!! i love your horse!!

  • Prelim is a so fun level, I had great fun doing it last year. This summer I will do Training level with my 5 years old, impatient to do prelim again! You ride very well and your horse is very great on cross country, I like the way he's jumping without any hesitation!

  • that was beautifully done... and it looks like you and your horse were having fun. Great job!

  • He is a very good jumper! and so are you a good ridder! I would die if my thoroughbred jumped like that :D

  • Great video and awsome horse and rider!

  • Good job!!Have been to champagne run myself... It's a great course...

  • nearly got run over by the golf thing lol

  • I like how after the jump you let em run and then b4 the jump you hoist em back and give him a signal to slow down, really great job!!

  • Thanks! can't be galloping all out to those solid fences, ya know :P

  • Gosh your good!!

  • well thank-you :)
