  • so what is the point in grinding down the piece of he trigger?

  • i got same pliers as you! they are gerber :P

  • my bb feed nozzle keeps jamming in the mag. nothing but unreliable for me. how is the makarov?

  • How ca you do this to make it not a runaway auto? I know it's possible but can you figure it out?

  • Hi I'm doing the mod and how thick does the washer need to be. Thanks Shane ????

  • i was able to, after much patcients and measuring, i made a trigger linkage guard out of a bike spoke, works beautifully. it was VERY difficult to do, i use regular and needle-nose pliers.

  • i used 2 washers and its perfect i can hit the trigger and let go and it dont run away i let go of the trigger it stops firing its bad ass thanx for the info dude

  • so if u pull the trigger once it will shoot the whole clip or do have told the trigger im mean if i pull the trigger and let go will it ceep firing

  • @lpmm215 yes it will. but before you file down that one part try doing it without filing it down and it may work

  • Is sawing that one part really necessary?

  • do you think that its possiable to do this same mod to the Ceosman pro77 blowback pellet pistol?

  • Does anyone know where i can get the firing pin for this gun, i lost mine ):

  • Great vid, works and took about 20min. thx

  • Great instruction's on performing this mod. Very nice walk through. PLEASE help me answer a question nobody seems to be able to help me with. Very simply, can the Walther CP99 blow-back be modified to full auto. And would your technique work with the CP99 model ? PLEASE HELP. any info would be great. Thanks alot !!! R.K.

  • @rk2573

    Hey RK

Im really not sure, as i dont own the pistol and have never seen the internals of the pistol before.

However, the CP99 is also made by UMAREX, so could quite possibly use the same hammer/firing pin specifications as the PPK/s so it may be possible!?

best advise i can give you if you want to give it a while is strip her open ;) and have a look inside to see if you can see anything similar to internals of the PPk/s in there!

  • The part at 1:38 fell out of mine. How's the pin on it supposed to be wrapped around the silver part? Every time I attempt to place the part back in, the slide stops half way. It works fine without it except it doesn't stop shooting/cock back all the way after all the BBs have been dispensed.

  • Just performed this mod on my gun. forgot to put in the part that goes on the left side of the gun to keep the slide open after the last shot is fired. It kept firing even though no more bb's were in the mag. I realized my mistake and installed the part and now the slide stays back after the 15th bb is fired. 15 bb's in under 2 seconds, awesome. You explained everything very well. By the way I just pried off the steel ring on the firing pin and reused it, no need to go out and buy a circlip.

  • @toprod11

awesome, glad you found the vid helpfull!

    have fun with it!

looking forward to seeing yours in action :)

and yeah, i gave up with the band of metal in the end! so just popped an E-clip on i had spare in the toolbox!

  • No offence, but i owned the ppk bb, and it sucked . I have a Umarex(Fullmetal) Berreta Pellet gun, is this possible to mod? Great video...I hate blow back action guns there pointless. id like to mod one up, Id even get the ppk back just to0 do it.

  • how come u cant change it back to semi auto?

    good video btw

  • Nice video, I might buy a ppk just to do this to it. Do you know how to make gamo v3 fully auto? Please respond back.

  • aw im gutted. i would do this mod but my recoil cylinder has lost pressure over time so it doesn't fully cock the hammer anymore. and ive lost the slide lock.

anyone know a way to increase shot power by sacrificing recoil?

  • can this mod be done to a cp88?

  • hey...thanks for this tutorial dude...my friends was like WTF? when they see me fire my ppk....thanks dude....:)

  • Thumbs up if you did this.

  • I have a Walther CP88 Competition pellet gun that is so accurate I could put out an eye on rat, has to be a big one though. The CP88 is dead nuts accurate. Now to the point.

I bought the PPK/S solely on your video. I just finished sighting it and the thing couldn't hit the broad side of barn. 15 feet away from my sighting target with a proper gun vise you can't get 2 shots within an inch from each other, so I figure doing your mod one shot might hit the target, thanks.

    Wayne

  • @narod85

    Hi Wayne,

yes the PPK/s is pathetically inaccurate! and will look incredible poor against something like the CP88 with a rifled barrel. This, (by the sounds of things also your mentality) is why i modded the pistol in such a way. Its daft to pretend this pistol could be anymore than a 'toy'! so why not have a bit of fun with it, and leave the decent shooting to the pistols that were designed for such purpose!

For example i have a Weihrauch HW45 for my target shooting!

    take care

  • @murdoch2486

Don't get me wrong I wasn't comparing a rifled pellet gun to a BB gun. I think what you have done is cool and I am in the middle of looking for the "C" clip that flew across the room right now  I am off to the hardware store, they carry some pretty small stuff at the one I am going to.

I have a question if you don't mind, besides the correct diameter of the firing pin am I looking for one or two of the correct width so there is no movement of the firing pin ?

    Thanks, Wayne

  • @narod85

haha, yeah that little bugger caused me a bit of trouble too! try asking if they stock 'E' Clips, much better than than ruddy band of metal! (they should give you one for free, i cant imagine what one E clip would cost!)

You still need a bit of movement in the firing pin, so the hammer can still exert a force and the pin make noticeable contact on the piston release.

One 1-2mm washer will do the trick, but if you pick up some wafer thin washers, you may need a few of them?! :)

  • @murdoch2486

So my firing pin didn't have a washer on it. I have found a washer that is 1mm thick so I only need this one washer or should I put 2 in. The washer is the exact same size of the firing pin head. I also have an E clip and while I can't pull it of by hand it seems a little sloppy. Can't wait to see this work

  • @murdoch2486

Ha just finished the mod on a brand new PPK/S and it was well worth it, besides the full auto the blowback betweem each round really makes it even better. Very impressed and thanks.

    Wayne

  • so u add another washer to the existing one?

  • @Matt12654

there isnt a washer located behind the firing pin, on the stock pistol.

  • is the ppk/s good for hunting.

  • I just modified it in like 10 min and used a washer and e-clip from a traxxas shock rebuild kit #2362. The kit comes with the e-clip and a plastic washer not a metal one but there is no impact that I can find that the washer will endure.

  • @DHJ1329 and there is no washer in the new model plus I had to remove the pin to release the trigger guard.

  • @DHJ1329

yeah a plastic washer is fine. anything that fills the gap between the firing pin and the piston release will do. In fact, someone said they managed to use a gummy O ring, and got the mod to work!

  • you think it will work with closely similar cp99 compact?

  • @alienboy366

im really not sure, i dont own that model, so i am not sure how it operates internally.

I believe it has an internal hammer, which could make things tricky, but not impossible!

  • U could just buy 2 take the washer out on one then return that gun

  • but i make this with gummi washer lol it works thanks ^^

  • i just got my ppk/s today, after the mod is complete and a clip is spent....when you reload the clip and put it back in is it ok to pull the slide back or will it cause the gun to fire?

  • Same question as softairbeast can you do it in burst ? or once you pull the trigger will it not stop firing?

  • @xRandomBEASTx

    Full auto only.

If it was a larger magazine it would be a problem, but the 15 rounds are gone so quickly it doesnt really make a differance!

  • @murdoch2486 wait wait you put 2 washers on it or 1

    my eng is bad =b

  • @murdoch2486 realy cool i make a vid thanks

  • where do you get an "e" clip from?

  • @weepulization

A local model or hardware shop, should have them, or have some spares lying around that if you ask nicely, should give you one for free!

  • hey sorry to bother ya again but i have another question before it buy an mod this gun. can you shoot it in small burst ? like tap the trigger and 3 shots come out.or once you pull the trigger all you can do is wait until the clip has no ammo. plz reply quickly

  • i am BEGGING you to reply to this.

is this the walther ppk/s air pistol? it may be a stupid question but i saw it at academy and i want to mod it but i want to make sure its the right one. like i dont want to buy it and figure out its the wrong one.

  • @SoftAirBeastx9x

Yeah this is an Air Pistol, firing .177 metal BB's made by UMAREX

  • i got to get me one of those. where could i get one? cause i have always wanted to make one fully auto.

  • Hey I was just wondering where I can get some e/c-clips which will fit this gun? I'm from England (will B&Q do them?)

  • @rajsingh1989

yeah you should be able to get some at B&Q, but your best bet is to go into a local modelshop and see what they stock there

  • Is there anyway to cover up that unsightly co2 valve on the bottom?

  • @sikvenum82

Yes there is, i have actually done it to my pistol, i may do a video about it.

its incredibly simple, you literally saw the nub off, and on the newly flush screw you have created, simple saw a makeshift flat head groove on the face of the screw, so you can tighten the CO2 cup with a screwdriver. Not the most elegant, but it takes 5 minutes and defeats the problem of the god awefull nub on the pistol!

    hope this helps

  • BUT! I cant guarantee then that the gun will stop itself when u take your finger off the trigger since the added power to the blowback might trip additional rounds. I'm currently working on making the problem of accidental misfire not a problem, but I can only do the mod I want to do after I get the rest of my parts in and able to continue testing.

  • @TenchiNumix22

brilliant, sound plausible with hammer spring to release more CO2 on the first shot.

but what is the relevance of a rifled barrel for BB's? a rifled barrel exerts a spin on a pellet or bullet head, a uniformly shaped sphere will not undergo the same conditions?!

unless of course you are somehow trying to get the pistol to fire pellets on repeat?

  • @murdoch2486

yeah your theory sounds right. thats what I believe at first, but after looking around for other bb airguns, i've found a couple that feature a rifled barrel that supposedly shoot at a higher fps, granted for most of these guns, they shoot bb's and pelets, so the rating might be with a pellet. If anything, my longer barrel with increase the fps a tiny bit since the bb has a longer barrel to travel thru.

Ur pretty much reading my mind because thats exactly what I'm working on.

  • @murdoch2486

I'm modding the mag to accept not only more bb's, but pellets as well. So far, I've only been succefull with a 19 rnd mag upgrade with bb's still. I might have to do some precise work to get the mag to properly cycle through pellets. Its a exciting thought though, 19 pellets on full-auto...:):) lol

  • @TenchiNumix22

great minds think alike as they say! ;)

that really would be awesome! but an engineering nightmare i can imagine!

good luck with everything, and if you can get some footage of the making process, get it on the tube!

    have a great weekend mate

  • @murdoch2486

Yeah no kidding on the nightmare....the hair I once had has been all ripped out outta frustration. lol. But I was able to get two shots off with pellets. I think I'm gonna give that project a rest and work on getting a vid up. Thanks again for the mod vid. Without that, I wouldn't have even started modding the gun in the first place. lol :)

  • @TenchiNumix22

    hahaha! brilliant!

okey dokey mate, looking forward to seing a vid

no probs! i enjoyed doing it!

  • Current mods are a 3.75" rifled steel barrel instead of the stock 3" smooth bore. A added spring on the hammer to increase(at least the first shot out of two) the CO2 pumping into it. I cant guarantee the second shot will be as powerful as the first since the blowback slide is what does the work of firing after the first shot. But adding another spring for the slide or stretching the spring to make the blowback more powerful will accomplish the rest.

  • Sry its takin me a while for the upload. Im actually stuck modding my PPK/S more than I originally was planning to. lol. Got some crazy, great new custom mods that should hop up the fps dramatically. Please send me your email so I can send you pics of my mods directly to you, as well as some general instructions/parts list to mod your gun the same way.

  • I have also been finding that my mod is increasing the fps on the gun, making it match closely in penetrating power to my other two bb guns, which fire at a much higher fps(350fps Crosman 1088 / 480fps Phantom P10).

Ill post a vid soon of it in action. Oh!!! Also with my mod, you can cock the gun whichever way you want without worry of misfire. :)) In tests so far, a tap on the trigger fires 2-3 bbs.

  • @TenchiNumix22

    that sounds fantastic!

post a vid, im really interested to see this!

    thanks for getting in touch

    and well done :)

  • Very Very nice work! I have just recently bought one of these fun guns from my friend and decided to do the mod you have here, but I wasn't satisfied with firing a full clip at once, so after a night of work(fussing and cussing, lol) on the gun, I have successfully modded this gun to be truly automatic, meaning the gun will only fire and keep firing as long as u have the trigger down. ^-^

  • sweet. this happens to be the exact gun i hav

  • Do you know the exact screw size on the top of the gun? It's in front of the sights and it fell off of mine

  • @xSyntic

i think its a 4mm thread? dont quote me on that though

  • Hey dude mines leaking the co2 as soon as I put it in it leaks out the whole thing do u know what the problem might be?

  • @spritrocks

yeah sounds like a faulty valve due to excessive use and no oiling.

you will need to give UMAREX a call and replace it.

  • Once you press the trigger does it automatically fire off the entire clip? Or does it only fire so long as you are holding the trigger? Thanks, Im thinking about doing this :D

  • @therealgamerman64

yes the entire magazine is fired from one action of the trigger. It doesnt necessarily need to be the full 15 rounds, but whatever rounds are loaded the gun will cycle and fire :)

  • @murdoch2486 Ohhh I see

That doesn't sound to safe, and it sounds kind of annoying. Do you think it's possible to make it fully automatic but only when the trigger is squeezed? i understand this will require a far more difficult mod, but do you see anyway it could be possible?

    Thanks

  • @therealgamerman64

I dont think so? the mechanics of this pistol does not fuction like a real pistol. Its blowback feature is only cosmetic if you will. So i dont think it is possible.

But to be honest with such a small magazine capacity as 15 rounds (which is over in less than a second) i dont really see the point in such a mod as you probably wouldnt beable to react fast enough to stop the firing cycle?!

I hope this helps mate :)

  • @murdoch2486 True, Im not an expert on guns at all, but Ive been doing a bit of reading on real fully automatic guns and I see now they have a solenoid or some similar thing to control the firing, and you're right, it is waaaay different to the mechanics of this gun.

Thanks so much for the information and the video, and thanks a million times more for the super fast replies to my messages!

  • @therealgamerman64

    not a problem mate!

good luck if you go for it!

    have a great weekend

  • do you suggest any places to get blowback pistols cheapish, need some more for a short film as i said before

  • @leon8285

    like i said.

Airsoft guns might be the best route for you, in which case you can get them anywhere online. they are all good prices, just depends what your price range is.

  • @murdoch2486 ok thanks, il take a better look, on a tight budget though

  • Just done this mod to my gun without modding the linkage (just put in the washer) and works fine will post vid to show

  • @chris801

awesome, and you arnt getting slide jams?

yeah id love to see a vid. Post as a video response if you like

  • no slide jams, out of gas now, will put vid up in a sec and a better one when got more gas, this mod realy uses it fast!

  • @chris801

haha, yeah 15 rounds a second will do that! :P

  • I just bought this gun and ur right the new models have a pin. Any idea how to remove it? I tried pushing it through, wont budge.

  • @pennstateyo

i beleive the pin can only be removed from one way?

have you tried pushing the pin from the other side?

  • semi auto is my thing but ya thats nice mod dangerousthoughif you forget alot hahaha like my friend not me ....secret time its me

  • do you really need that special washer because it cant find one ANYWHERE

but i think doing it without wouldnt harm nothing

    anyway thanks mate

  • @MrHotrod68

    yes you do.

Its what the modification relies on to work.

you could try making making a washer if you have access to a lathe.

  • @murdoch2486

hey i found a nut the same size the washer if i just sand it down it would be the same right

  • @MrHotrod68

    yeah that would work :)

    will be very fiddly though!

  • dont make the C clip on the firing pin an E clip....my firing pin blew out of the gun, had to cut a C clip out of a beer bottle cap....lots of fun

  • @thisopinion1

you probably had a poorly fitting E clip, mine is holding up fine.

haha, fair enough, youll have more fun trying to get that to hold though?! i cant imagine it being very strong, youd be better with some thick gauge wire.

  • @murdoch2486 ya...i think i made it too small. The one i made seems to be working, and yes, it is very week metal. I also cut the triger catch too low, now it just fires till its empty.

  • @thisopinion1

    cool.

dont worry thats normal, i havent found a way round that yet.

  • i have a problem putting my gun back together

you know the small firing pin? well i just cant put the ring back in the firing pin.

any hints? thanks my friend for reading this

  • @jawbreaker480

the method i have used in the vid is the best, with a bit of tack, and some tissue to hold in place.

  • @jawbreaker480 try to make the washer on the firing pin thinner.

  • @thisopinion1 thanks mate, your words really helped!(:

  • do you know how much your ppk was oringinally, i need blowback pistols for a short film

  • @leon8285

    Hi mate

i payed about £40 for this second hand, if you are just using them for films, i reckon airsoft, might be a better option? cheaper, and in some cases, look really realistic?! :)

    good luck with your film

  • @murdoch2486 thanks for the quick reply, do you have skype coz if you do i wanna ask you some questions about airsoft and stuff

  • @leon8285

sorry mate, i dont have skype,

but i dont mind, you getting in touch through youtube, thats no probs! :)

  • @murdoch2486 kk, its just that typing can be a bitch :D

  • thamks alot mate i just did it to mine do you think you could maybee try and mod THE COLT COLT DEFFENDER THANKS

  • @thevaultdweller3000

i dont own that pistol, sorry mate

  • make sure (all your screws) are tight

  • Cool

  • I have been have some troubles with my ppk/s. The slide will stop to get stuck about 1 cm away from it's rest position after almost every shot which is making me having to push the slide the rest of the way. I have oiled and cleaned the gun several times and it is still sticking. Is there anyway I can fix this???

  • @97newtanave

    hmmmm,

is the screw on the top of the slide (that holds the cylinder head in place) nice and tight? try tightening that screw up, and see if that helps, if not message me back, and i'll try and think of another solution!

  • @murdoch2486

that helped a little bit but it is still sticking every once in a while. I think that some of the plastic is burring around where the slide rubs against the plastic.

    Thanks for the help.

  • @97newtanave

    glad it helped a bit.

im sure you'll figire it out! :)

  • @97newtanave mine does the same thing i dont know why it does it. does ur clip separate a little bit at the top? Mine does and i'm not sure if it's suppose to

  • @ChefFatRob No my clip doesn't separate at the top, but that isn't whats causing the problem. What happened is the slide had a lot of grease and oil and little plastic burs that were gathering up around the edges of the slide. If you want I could post a video response of what is happening when your slide stops before it should.

  • @97newtanave ya i looked at my gun and its clean idk what the problem is did u fix ur gun though after figuring out what the problem was?

  • @ChefFatRob I have no idea what the problem is. I still haven't fixed it yet. Sorry

  • @ChefFatRob I have no idea what the problem is. I still haven't fixed my gun yet. Sorry

  • Nice tutorial, i'm surprised that this is the only one on you tube.

  • @97newtanave

    cheers mate,

yeah, im suprised too, but i guess people just cant be bothered!

  • lol dude why doesnt james bond do this to his gun? cheers and i made my full auto now pewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpew then reload

  • @scarface4724

    haha!

he should do, i'll be sure to recommend it to him, next time he comes over to Q branch! :P

  • wow 15bbs shot in less than a second from a walther ppk....im very surprsed and impressed(: great video mate!!

  • @jawbreaker480

yeah, its quite a buzz, even if it is an air pistol!

    thanks mate

    all the best :)

  • Where the hell did you get a GUN?

  • @09jariah

from a gun shop funnily enough!

  • @murdoch2486 Sorry to bother you mate but how much does it cost in U.S. currency?

  • @tinle2

id say youd beable to get this pistol for around $90? im really not sure though, i picked this up for £50 a couple of years ago.

  • @murdoch2486 thanks im going to buy one this June!

  • this videos sick , even tho its not the same gun im working on its close enuff that it helpd me figur it out

  • @ironlungdtoker

    cheers mate

    glad you found it usefull

    happy new year

  • coud you figure out a way to make a crossman c11 full auto?

  • @nerfcreations

i do not own one, so therefore cannot see its internals.

if its blowback, im sure it can be done.

  • @nerfcreations naw man , that gun cant b made auto i have one n have been trying for a long time , it just lacks to much , it needs a blow back system to work right

  • yea i just got a p10 they shuld b the same

  • ho man that is just cool

  • @Murdoch2486 ya thanks anyway i got 1 full auto im having trouble finding mods from other ppl for my p-23 o well nice vids

  • @Murdouch2486 i wanted to know if you might know how to mod a P-23 semi 13 Rnd. Internal Clip made by GAMMO inc. If so please pm me of make a vid if not jus reply u cant thanks man and tht vid for the suit was awsome you were all invisible thnx 

  • @REXX98EXTREME

i dont have any experience with that pistol sorry. but im sure if i had a look around one, it could be done!

and thanks man, glad you liked it!

  • Thanx

  • ill try pushing it in the other direction now ill message u if it works :)

  • If you dont mod the firing pin will it still b full auto i want it for the linkage arm so i can hold down the trigger and when i let go it stops firing i jus dont like how if u pull trigger once it keeps firing till outa ammo pleas reply back to me or pm me i need hlp thnx

  • @REXX98EXTREME

You will need to make the adjustments both on firing pin and the linkage arm for the mod to work correctly, and a mag dump is the only way to go about this mod, unfortunately.

  • any advice on getting the trigger gaurd pin out.. i tried thumtacs, skinny nails, all hitting them on the top wit a hammer anything i can try????

  • @lilbrian39

hmmm, im suprised a thumbtac didnt work? are you pushing the pin from the right direction?

failing that, do you have a really small jewellers screwdriver you could try? it might a take a few small knocks with a hammer to tempt it out!

good luck, and let me know how you get on!

  • IF you want the gun back to normal you can buy the trigger bar from umarex, the part number is (9) and their number is 4796464210 extension 507. It came out to be $6.70 including shipping.

  • were did you buy it and which one should i get yours or the newer 1

  • @utubers10

any shop that sells air pistols and rifles will stock them.

It doesnt matter, if you buy a newer one, youll just have to remove a pin that locks trigger guard.

  • AWESOME! Does this really work? If it does I wanna buy a gun like this!

  • @LEATHERFACERETURNS

    cheers!

well try it for yourself and find out :)

  • @Afs189

because the firing pin will be obstructed from engaginthe piston head.

If you look at your piston, you will see the pressure release isnt flush with the edge of the housing, so you need something to same diamter of the firing pin to allow it to make full contact.

  • @Afs189

    right ok.

hmmmm, that might be your problem, the fact that you are using a c clip instead of washers, as a c clip will flex, so its probably not making full contact with the face of the piston?

try getting hold of some washers, and install them, and see if that makes a differance.

  • @Afs189

have you filed down the linkage arm?

and how many washers have you put behind the firing pin?

  • @Afs189

I found it reduces the drag on the slide allowing it to return to its rest position faster and with greater speed, thus engaging the piston head at a faster rate, hence the crazy rate of fire!

  • For this pistol

  • @Xdeerhunter98X

it wouldnt be too difficult, but you need to access to a lathe and other equipmet, which could complicate things.

  • Do u know how to make a silencer

  • @Xdeerhunter98X

in general, or for this pistol?

  • ya i shaved the washer down it works perfect easy to mod and awsome outcome very easy mod ur video was great now try to help me mod my 22lr remington lol thanks man

  • @jessecull1

nice one, glad it worked out for you alreet! its a bit of a pain finding or making your own washers that are the same size, but its the only way!

haha, when theres a will theres a way! :)

  • hey man i did the mod but my washer i could find was a little bigger then the fireing pin will this affect the gun cause it only fires one at a time plz help me out cheers

  • hey man i did the mod but my washer i could find was a little bigger then the fireing pin will this affect the gun cause it only fires one at a time plz help me out cheers

  • dude u are the man thank you

  • Hey please reply, where did you get that gun from?

  • @Vapourize1

from a gun shop here in the UK

  • @Vapourize1 Pyramid air
