  • will this work on an apple computer running osx lion?

  • what does it mean compact keyboard?

  • Just bought this one and it's really nice and handy, but sometimes I get a lag where like when I press a key it appears on the screen 20 seconds later (and no I don't have a shitty pc, my wired logitech one did work months very well). I think it's a bug with the unifying software or something. (And no, battery isn't low as well, as I said, I just bought it the day before yesterday ;))

Does anyone of you know something about that?

  • Спасибо за обзор!

    Thanks for review!

  • have no mouse?

  • @syafiig

I have two k340's and I don't have this problem. That might of only affected early models.

  • hello i bought a new one today and my red things from behind doesnt work what can i do for this????

  • whats when something gets between the keyboard and the reciever? for example

does the keyboard react even so? for example a pillow or something else

  • Nice review.

  • this keyboard is so shitty compared to the K360.. i bet its also a discontinued product this.

  • Logitech is like bose

  • DONGLE DONGLE DONGLE. ;)

  • my M505 have been waiting for a companion, thanks for the review!!

  • " hi every one, this is daaaaive" lol

  • Haha dongle

  • How good is the angle of the keyboard? it doesnt have little flip out feet, to angle the front of it higher. My cheapy microsoft keyboard does, and when i retract the feet, i have a hard time typing on it. This is the only problem i see.

  • @takman Good angle.

  • @davomrmac Is it compatible for windows Vista? i though it might be but idk from the sight

  • @xxth0mpsonxx I am not 100% sure, but I think it is.

  • @davomrmac Thanks yeah i did a little bit mroe research and found on amazon that it is and i ordered it yesterday thanks though =D

  • @takman Angle is fine without the retractable feet. I don't have the problem of the supposedly loose battery cover.

  • @takman you shouldn't angle your keyboard upwards, it very bad for your wrists... in fact it should be angled downwards and be situated pretty low.

  • I'm sorry but dongle is such a all encompassing funny word.

  • @TheSighGuy :)

  • I was Wondering if it's possible to get only USB plug Connector or what ever it's called.

Because it seems my old big one is out of order.. and i dont have a reciever for my mouse.

Btw i'm going to buy this keyboard.

My bro spilled a drink over my G110 .. i dont want expensive ones anymore.

But i also cant live without a Backlight or what ever it's called.

Hope this keyboard will last more than half a year.

  • good review ... Just ordered mine before watching this ..Now i know i made the right choice.. Thanks

  • @psychotichellhound Cheers.

  • I think im gonna buy this keyboard, cuz its wireless. I hate cables.

Im also a gamer. Is this keyboard still a good choice?

Specially about the race games. Is it also a good gaming keyboard?

  • @pokemonfreaky100 I use it for occasional gaming and it performs fine.

  • I'm struggling to choose which keyboard I should get:

'Logitech DiNovo for Notebooks' or the 'K340'.

I like the softness of the DiNovo to type on, but I like the unifying reciever to the K340.

    Any thoughts?

  • @thedude1325 Hard choice, the simplicity of the K340 for me. Still using it 7 months on and enjoying it, same set of batteries too.

  • @thedude1325

My DiNovo for notebook keyboard suddenly just stopped working for me. The a,s,1,2,3, and capslock key stopped working. After doing some research on the web it seems like there is a hardware defect. I got to talk to logitech customer support and since the model is not in production anymore i had to choose another keyboard which i chose the K340 instead.

  • @AznDevilBoi85 Thanks for your comment.

  • you can slide the usb in, not clipping it

  • woah thats weird...

The first thing I noticed is the fucked up layout.

I was really confused throughout the review, and then I figured maybe it was a UK thing, which it seemingly is.

  • Its quite a nice profile but its got a nice angle to it.

    lol

  • thanks, good review

  • @syafiig no it is not true im using the k340 and is works fine ill test it:

wa w awa wa wa wa aw wa wa wa w awa wa wa wa wa wa waw awa w awa wa

  • @Tomoko231

Yes it does? because i also read that? you were presseing the keys simultaniously?

    pleasy reply thx

  • Could anyone who has this keyboard tell me how many keys you can press simultaneously before it stops registering, you can test this by pressing a key and then another one and then another one and when the letter stops changing that means its the limit. Thanks.

  • @cybz96 The answer is four.

  • have background colour or i just imagine ???? please answer !!!

  • @milankurucic Yes, red/orange.

  • @milankurucic did you even watch the video? seriously...

  • @milankurucic You could've just watched the video instead of shouting for help...

  • ive had this keyboard for almost a year now and i love it. wouldnt have any other keyboard. its small, and yet full-size. also its wireless and takes AA batteries. which last several months. i dont think ive changed the batteries in this for 3-4 months now.

  • @CalebTheGuitarist That is great to know, thanks for adding this.

  • Can you get one with a blue backlight/background thing?

    or

How easy would it be to modify it to be blue, would it be possible?

  • @ToKnowAndBeKnown Woah, I wouldn't mod it, but should be easy for some. I think it is only this colour.

  • anybody using this on a mac?

  • @A7xfan74 I used it on a Mac briefly. Worked extremely well, except the odd key placement for some keys. Like # and @.

  • @davomrmac can you use the function keys are they are (command, option, cntrl) or can you remap them? Im just concerned about having a command button to use

  • @A7xfan74 Not too sure, as I no longer have the keyboard on the Mac. You should definitely be able to remap them though. Anyone help with this?

  • Hello. I have a problem with my logiteck k340 keybord. When i turn it on the light is on for just 5 sec. So i cant write with it. I have change the battery and it still not working. Please replay! :)

  • @JSH9J the light stays on for only about 5 seconds, but the keyboard stays on. i turn the switch on, the light comes on, quickly goes off, and the keyboard stays on

  • @A7xfan74 Thanks for adding this.

  • Logitech = SWISS POWER!!!!!!!!

Logitech rocks! If u need a good mouse go for the logitech anywhere mouse mx ! and btw.... this is a great keyboard!

  • @muffa08 Thanks for this great comment.

  • 3 year batterlife(Based on 2million key strokes a year). That's freaken fantastic.

  • @DeadEyeSprout It it performs as promised it will be.

  • I still think this keyboard is pretty big (not compact) at the panels...

  • Does it work for windows 7, and laptops?

  • @WePoopHere Yes.

  • Is there some sort of red light behind the keys? o_O

  • @Darkplayer01 Not a red light, just a red underlay.

  • great review cheers!

  • Yeah this review's amazing

  • great review, mate !

    apreciate your work

  • Thank you.

  • the only thing you didnt do (and the review was great) was to type on it i want to know how LOUD it is too you got laptop style keyboards Mid shot travel keys and normal keys they can all by flimsy and loud too so that a top just say im gonna type so you can hear the noise don't say anything and just let us hear but other than that u nailed it nice

  • True, to update, it is very quiet to type on with excellent tactile feel.

  • excellent review mate. i am about to build a desk setup what do you think of this it is my first setup. HP G61 Laptop, logitech Marathon M705 mouse, Logitech K340 keyboard (u just reviewed), Logitech X-140 Speakers, belkin 2 in 7 port USB hub, Dell IN2010 20" widescreen Monitor, HP deskjet F4580 inkjet printer, laptop cooler and iomega 1.5TB Prestige Home Storage hard drive. would you make any changes to it but if u change the laptop it needs to be around £400

  • thank you for the good review.
