All this talking about sagat being too OP and always wins because of that is getting old. Yes he's considered the best character of the game but there are other characters also being much better than the rest like Ryu, Akuma, Balrog, Rufus etc. Mago is very skilled player. Sagat doesn't mean auto win. I play sagat too but other characters as well. If someone wants to pick sagat against me if i'm playing Vega, Rose or something that's fine. I like the challenge :).

@kryptonkandor Mago has high regards for Momochi. If you watch Momochi's Ibuki vid against Daigo, it is obvious that both Tokido and Mago favored Momochi. Also, Momochi is now considered the best Shoto user amongst all Japanese players. Momochi defeats Daigo on a fairly consistent basis. Momochi has a rapidly growing fanbase right now :-)

@sundeepyup sagat does a great deal of damage (it has been reduced in SSF4) and Akuma has one of the lowest stamina's (life bar) in the game. But it is considered a 5:5 matchup

I for one play as Ken and there are little to none live Sagats that aren't a fucking ridiculous. The dumbasses that just spam tiger shots until they cannot, then they try to grab and you tech and trap them.

The only 3 that I had a problem with are added now and I play with them as often as possible and yeah, they REALLY now how to play.

Ooh, good point :). sagat is very slow, yet he does much more damage than other characters. but many people have been complaining about sagat's damages and moves like fast fire balls, the tiger knees, and the flip kicks that does damage like an uppercut, and some times these flip kicks can be done twise @@. thanx :)

Yeah, hes upper cuts do hurt, but even his LP upper cut has a long recovery time (just like Akuma's in this matchup).So if he misses even his light upper cut, he will be punished hard.

basicly momochi dont like to spam fireballs in his gameplay while mago is like spam if you are far and hit you if you are close depending of the distance mago melee or fireball and he got the ultra that he ofthen use it in a combo while momochi is more into combos.....

No, that's not true. Quite a few reputable players say other wise one including Mago himself. Gouki beats Sagat 55-45, Sagat beats Ryu 55-45 (Fuudo confirms this as well), and the Dalsim match up is even to my knowledge.

splurgendii i do agree that sagat doesnt have a hard time with practically anyone. his spam tiger shots are incredibly fast and strong, and his basic zoning mixup is very hard for any player to get in and level the playing field. apart from sagat having nothing else but spam moves he doesnt have the benifit of a tatsumaki kick, which can be strong, and allow him to avoid supers, ultras, or projectiles. so atleast he does have a tatsumaki. lol
