Paul died last week in a plane crash...I never knew him but I loved this video he made and it reminds me of all the JAARS pilots I worked with on the other side of the island in PNG--putting their lives on the line to not only serve Bible translation, but to do all the humanitarian things that can only be done by aircraft in that terrain--medical evacuations, bringing supplies, moving produce and people to help make their lives better. Pray for Paul's family and co-workers. Thanks Paul.

I served with Paul Westlund for 9 years. When it is all been said and done, Paul ran the race with love and a heart the size of the country in which he served. I'm sure the first words he heard in heaven while he looked into his Lords eyes and gave that toothy grin he always gave was, "Well done good and faithful servant".

Ok, pardon me I do NOT mean to be disrespectful. I LOVE THIS VIDEO. But I happen to be Atheist AND I have seen missionary pilots do the greatest acts one can imagine and the worarter pilot - ie "your notst (as a fellow ch christian/mormon/lds etc go away!" But I always as an atheist pilot who had mutual respect for MAF and others who I helped as did they, these guys do good. BUT REMEMBER there are others out there doing good, because it's the right thing to do.
