I've played EVERY Kingdom Hearts again after playing that one...and even though I think there are things they could have done better...but I really think, this is the most awesome Kingdom Hearts untill now. It has the mos touching story, the most dramatic too. It's a bit more serious than the last ones and there's less "Disney-influence" in the mainstory. (Although there is even less Final Fantasy too).

Still, if you thought "playing KH1 and 2 was enough to get the story" play this one!

Only two things that piss me off about this game:

Terra didn't have those cool yellow eyes.

When they got their armors, they didn't have the cool capes. :D

But:

This game is just awesome!

TThe only thing they really could have done better is to put more FF-Characters in it, and maybe put in the reason why Squall is "Leon" now and things like that.

Yes, he got those eyes. But only after beeing possesed by Xehanort. I hoped he'd get them on his own, cause of his darkness or something like that. And I meant I wanted him to get them at the moment he got them in the secret ending....it looked much more awesome that way.

Story based this games was the worst, It wasn't bad, as a matter of fact it was pretty great. But compared to the other games it falls a litte behind. Gameplay wise this was the best, just pure awesomeness.

Its not like they dont have a point. Final fantasy used to be good but as the new Final fantasy versions are coming out, they are slowly getting worse and KH is slowly getting better. I think Square enix may even end up giving up on Final fantasy. You're right by saying that without final fantasy KH wouldn´t be that great as it is now. But nowdays you cant say that Final fantasy is better than Kingdom hearts.

I somehow agree with you however, the beauty of kingdom hearts remains in its extensive and vast universe and how it's linked together. in such sense it's greater than final fantasy even if it is lightly based of final fantasy. Though they are both as great as each other in their own aspects. They are after all two completely different takes on RPG. (Prior to FF 12 for me at least) I lost interest in FF after 12 and am now hoping that Versus XIII would grab my mind once more.
