  • we had the pleasure of seeing jet perform with marty wilde in blackpool november 2010 fantastic show he had us all crying with laughter and still played some good old tunes what a performer ......sanlog1966

  • The theme from kojak sounds like this

  • Jet was always my hero, especially when with the Shadows. The car accident with Billie Davis in a taxi definitely put paid to a fantastic career, Though, to be fair he made a good comeback - but never quite the same. RIP in Jet buddy i will always think of you.

  • R.I.P. Jet.

  • rip jet you left so many happy memorys and your tunes will live on forever

  • He was really one of the Shadows...

  • So sad to hear of Jet's death today. I was about 6 or 7 when this came out & it's a tune I've always remembered, though you rarely hear it these days exceptr on here perhaps! My brother was in an early 60s r & b band in Bristol & Shadows LPs were always on the record player at home, so I grew up hearing all those wonderful tunes. Great memories & I always felt that anyone with a name like Jet must have been cool! Rest in Peace, Jet.......

  • R.I.P JET..

  • R.I.P JET!!

  • Star

  • Great memories of the 60's,I played this over and over way back on a thing called a record player. Simple times.

  • why did they leave the Shadows?

  • @wiaruz I believe that they wanted to make different music to the Shads, more of an edge. They were certainly two extremely talented musicians. The sixties certainly had some great talent making music.

  • Saw them at The Winter Gardens Margate when this was No 1,Absolutely amazing guitar playing and drumming from the pair of them. So genuine as well, they met fans after the show and spent ages chatting and signing autographs. For Hank Marvin..re early Shadows r ead Jet Harris, IMO just as influential and important to the group.

As for Tony Meehan, again IMO the best drummer of all time..So underated and not appreciated at the time.

Typical of a fantastic bygone era .Gone forever Never forgotten

  • EXCELLENT ...JET AND TONY WERE GREAT

  • great drums from tomy meehan

  • Jimmy Page was a session artist on this recording, his first recording!
