Look at cats like Philly Joe Jones, Max Roach, Will Kennedy, Tony Royster and Tony Royster Jr., Art Blakey, and so many more compared to people like Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, Buddy Rich, and so many more. Don't get me wrong these are great drummers but if you really take a look, most white drummers excel in...Rock and not much else. Black drummers are more versatile.
