Are you telling me that I have a drivetrain that has a loss of around 8%? Sorry dude the japenese are good but they ain't that good.
And assuming a 15% loss on my numbers would turn my hp at the crank to 330ish hp. No idea what the tundra's is, but both of those trucks have a TON of potential. They already revamped the titan engine to push 400 at the crank.
BTW running the numbers puts your Tundra at around 370 crank hp. If you do have such an increase why are the races so close? Maybe that 320 to the wheels is a bit exaggerated?

i don't know i own a titan i used to pull with it and it's works just as good as any other truck some are slower than others but i didn't do it alot and my brother also has a titan all he does is pull a trailer almost every weekend sense 04 and nothing has ever gone wrong with his titan and you are talking about reliability i seen more f-150s on the side of the road than titans more rams than anything.

The VK56VD is marked down as having ~410hp and ~417 lb/ft. <-- assuming at the crank.
The titan is rated for 9,400 lbs, although I would be surprised at a Tundra pulling all that with a C-Frame.

bullshit- granted dodge is, but gm and ford make good vehicles- they have been the backbone of hte american economy for years. gm started making shitty vehicles in the 80s and 90s, they finally have the stuff to make good vehicles again (eg. allison trannys, duramax and vortec powerplants), but they just can't get their feet under them. Ford has always made dependable vehicles, and yea, nissan and yota are reliable, until you start pulling like this every day like you do with a ford.

i don't know i own a titan i used to pull with it and it's works just as good as any other truck some are slower than others but i didn't do it alot and my brother also has a titan all he does is pull a trailer almost every weekend sense 04 and nothing has ever gone wrong with his titan and you are talking about reliability i seen more f-150s on the side of the road than titans more rams than anything.

ya the new rams look nice but thats about it i can't believe nissan wants to let dodge build the next titan only reason the truck doesn't get sales is because one engine option and 2 cab configurations and right now if nissan wanted to they could make the titan have 3 engine options the 5.6 the 4.0 and the 3.7 but no they just give up, only thing good about the deal is they are offering a cummins but a small one but ya if i owned a ford truck it would be a 250-450 or i would go with hd chevy
