@NatyDropDead technically, that could work but I strongly advise against it. Stretching is a delicate process ESPECIALLY once you get to bigger sizes [around 0g]. Invest in some proper jewelry. I know it get get pricey, but if you search online you can find some great deals.

@GavinStrnad In the begining it's easier to stretch. You should probably start waiting longer now though, your ear only has so much elasticity and you might start to tear instead of stretch. You shouldn't skip anymore sizes thought :P It's still bad even at the small sizes.

its because you skipped sizes you should never skip sizes even if its just one DONT DO IT

youll end up tearing your ear which is what you probly did, and youll get a crap load of blowout what I recommend you do is take it out and size down so your ears can heal, and use either glass or metal plugs/tunnels when you do this.

I recentnly streched my ears from a 16g to an 8g. I know its bad to skip sizes. I used an acrylic taper from spencers. And nothing bad has happend no inffections or puss or anything. Its been maybe around two weeks or less. And my ears are still bleeding. Not like hard core but there's blood everytime I take the gauge out. I have an acrylic jewlery that I am using (I don't know what its called) can that be the reason it keeps bleeding or is it because I skepped sizes

I'm at 2g right now, got about 5 layers of tape in, but the jump from 2g to 0g is quite a bit bigger than from 4g to 2g...so I was curious if you could share your experiences going from 2g to 0g? Like, how many layers would you guess you had to do? Or did you just get 1g jewelry to make the transition easier? This is the hardest stretch I've done (got pierced at 6g) so it would be nice to hear what other people have gone through! Thanks :)

@carefulsubliminal I just stretched to 0g, and I seriously had at least like 15 layers of tape on there. I spent about 4 months at 2g, it's definitely a size you want to take your time on. Honestly I'd recommend that you keep taping until the taped plug is visibly bigger than the 0g one, because otherwise it's just not a fun stretch at all.

I'm stretching and I used PTFE (teflon) tape, it's also non adhesive and it's really really thin, it's ridiculously thin and it works awesome. Love the video :D
