  • For the Johnny cash show they werent actually playing, there's no amps for 1 and the drummer isn't hitting everything

  • Nice musical version of some bible stories

  • Tom Fogerty looks like Bo Duke

  • This is my jam!!!! XD

  • There's a bathroom on the right !

  • I didnt realise Vic and Bob played in this band....check 1.25.

  • John Fogerty is an absolute legend.... funny how lip synch was a popular thing to do on TV in those days... if you look the drummer isn't even hitting the high hats lol

  • theres a bathroom on the right

  • Dat lip synching.

  • Supebe, j'adore Creedence !!! Wouiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • @EliteflipsTV2010 stick to the shitty ugly lady gaga/Justin craps !

  • Fuckung amazing song but they all look so stupid no offence to any hardcore fans

  • He doesn't look happy lip-syncing...I wonder why they wouldn't let them play live.

  • @FromLivingRock its rather its lip synced or the sound is slightly off but i think its the sound being off

  • Ich Lieben Drummer ;) !

  • fantastic, they created one of the best music style.

  • One of the guitar riffs you must be able to play on guitar :D

  • MY FAV SONG!

  • coooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • that was hand made music....so sad it's gone today

  • Fogerty looks like the kid from The Shining . . .

  • @PathosDistanz Im agree with you

  • what year was this concert in?

  • @jLynn0330 It was the Johnny Cash show, Sept, 1969.

  • Yeah, the bathrooom's on the right. Sure sounds like that on the record.

  • Todella hyvä kappale :)

  • fuck music went down hill...good new ban though brings back some old rock is the sheepdogs

  • back then when you went bald... you just needed to glue a rug to your head!

  • takes me back to the early 60's when every band you saw played live...you knew who could hack it and who couldn't

  • one of the best true country rock band's that we have ever had

  • some people say that the music they listen to is real music which is pop hiphop and electro but me I like classic rock and thats real music but they keep saying hip hop is much better than classic rock so to make them them believe me Im going to record classic rock and show them this is real music

  • pure magic!!!!!!

  • Just fucking superb.

  • CCR's music was a classic rock band(Rockabilly) sound that will be a standard for 100 years!!

  • I swear I thought I was listening to the album version!

  • Gotta love this beautifull music! I absolutly love it! Eventhough I wasn't born in the 60's yet (I'm from 79 myself) I always listen to this music! I got all of CCR's albums!

The music is awesome, and far better then what we got nowa days though! But my gawd, what did they have awefull hairdue's in this video man! lol xD ;D

  • bravoooooooo lo mejor

  • There's a bathroom on the right....

  • Hey mikekwarren. Are you kidding me? The reason this sounds so good is because they are lip-syncing to the record....and not doing a very good job at it. The drummer has the beat turned around, playing the snare where the bass drum should be and the bass drum where the snare should be. Creedence would get laughed off the stage today with a crappy lip-sync job like this.

  • As much as I love CCR who can afford to see Fogerty on his current tour? I know not me

  • Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhh Bad Monn Rising

  • Top music

  • CCR is one of the great bands of the 60's-70's. And it's cool that John Fogerty is still rockn' today.

  • Stu Cook had a mustache and thick framed glasses and rocked the fuck out of them Hipsters have ruined his thing. Sad times.

  • people who work at a gas station............?

  • @mikewarren: that is holy true, but no one today cares of TALENT!

  • los beatles del country

  • mikewarren, i hate to burst your bubble, this performance is playback with vocals.

  • The thing I love about CCR (apart from the awesome music) is the fact that they never looked like a band, they looked like they worked at a gas station or something.

  • @DudleyScardsdale HAHA! Dude that is so true, I knew there was always another reason why I liked them but could never figure it out that THAT is it!

  • @DudleyScardsdale original grunge rockers

  • @DudleyScardsdale so where u wore speedway?

  • @DudleyScardsdale anti fasion like all my fav bands. inc sublime

  • @DudleyScardsdale haha classic, best comment i have ever seen!

  • @DudleyScardsdale haha! you are right

  • @DudleyScardsdale and a bit retarded

  • I never knew Johnny Cash had a TV show. Wonder if the powers that be could release this as a DVD box set?

  • We need a show like this on today! thanks Johnny and CCR!

  • @BrianGriffin1 What we need is Johnny and CCR!!

  • One of my favorite bands ever, on my favorite musician´s show. How awesome is this? :D

  • Is it a premonition song or just a bible reference ?

"Hope you got your things together.

Hope you are quite prepared to die.

Looks like were in for nasty weather.

One eye is taken for an eye."

  • @Rocknweb Its a song about the worlds going to end!!

  • This was a real great band... except the haircuts... :D Love this music...

  • In my opinion the worst thing that ever happened to music was the creation of the''Talent Show''

  • This is classic good music!

  • when I was four years old I bought a 45 recored red wine white wine the biker club that whatched over me loved it but they never play it any more

  • when I was four years old I bought a 45 recored red wine white wine the biker club that whatched over me loved it but they ever play it any more

  • Great tune by a bunch of unremarkable hicks, who get dazed by the word "charisma".

It figures that "the other three"demanded more say in the writing process, and consequently ended, biting their fingernails.

  • 9 Beiber fans didn't see the bad moon rising!!

  • I'm just 17 yo, but i fucking love this song

    Oldies but goldies! (:

  • I laugh every time I hear this song...someone I knew thought the lyrics were "there's a bathroom on the right" LMAO

  • @KJM6781 I almost mentioned that but you beat me to it! LOL

  • 8 cretinous vermin didn't like this video !

  • Merci!

  • damn now this is HQ!

  • man this is good

  • whoever are the 7 ppl are who dnt like this song is such geek's lol

  • Fogerty if there was ever an American song writer who was so underated, let him speak. Hes the boss not springsprong.RIP Mr. Clemmons You had more talent than springsprong, who in fact was a Dylan wanna be

  • @sh10131957 Agreed that Fogerty is highly under-rated. But to call Springsteen a Dylan wannabe is just ignorant. You can like Fogerty and Springsteen you know.

  • great band, terrible haircuts

  • @wrocklin great band , amazing haircuts.. whatchu talkin bout ?

  • @wrocklin Do you really give a fuck about haircuts? This is CCR, shut up and just listen to the music.

  • @wrocklin BEATLES

  • @wrocklin they were in style back then, what do u expect!?! smh

  • I LOVE YOU....Fogerty!!!!!

  • Its a shame they had to mime here.. they sounded so good live.

  • good music died with the 60s.....lets get it REVIVED

  • It is lipsynced, but most of those old shows were, they never had good enough gear to do it live to Television.

  • I remember this song in the shining. Eerily fitting.

  • lov when they play this in American Werwolf In London :)

  • i like ccr, and johnny cash.

  • I love CCR, especially Proud Mary and BMR. Thank you CCR!

  • Back when artist played every note, every track (drum, guitar, vocals, hardly any pre-recorded stuff if any at all), EXACTLY as it sounded on the records. These studio bands today would have been laughed off stage with the crap they do now days. People need to wake up and recognize real talent, not auto-tuned sex appeal and phat beats created digitally on a computer.

  • @mikekwarren Agreed. Auto tune is annoying as fuck. Im only a fan of those songs if they can make me feel good or dance. If its just painful to hear, hell no. Like friday; the most painful song u'll ever hear

  • @mikekwarren Music must be allowed to grow into different directions/eras/types or else we shouldn't like even electric guitars with all the gadgetry they have. there's plenty unexplored ground. many composers good music even without playing instruments all to well. i find the main difference to be music written cause it's good music vs music written cause it sells alot.

  • @sunso68 I fully agree that every person should be exposed and encouraged to express themselves through the outlet of music. By doing so, music will continue to evolve infinitely. I'm a huge fan of the growing genre "DubStep", which is entirely studio driven with rare exception. My main focus on my original comment are the popular music artists that don't have any more talent than my neighbor.

  • @mikekwarren dude u said it very nicely put ccr fuckin rocks man

  • @mikekwarren

Yeah, this is pre-recorded. They were awesome live, though. No amps here.

  • @mikekwarren I love CCR but to me it looks like it is pre-recorded. No amps, and he's singing to far from the mic man. Sorry man, that's all I can see though

  • @thommytaranto True, this is pre-recorded for this show. My original comment was aimed toward the fact that more bands back then performed live just as well as they sounded on the studio cut. I was born in the wrong time :-) 1987.... should have been born in the 50's so I could have really enjoyed the music and the muscle cars. Keep rock'n Thommy!

  • @mikekwarren Yeah man, you and I wish for the same things! I was born in '96 and live music is just terrible these days, except for 3 or 4 bands maybe. And yeah man, keep rockin' yourself!

  • @mikekwarren amen brother:)

  • The Dude Abides.

  • asome band

  • Love this song and this band...good old times!!!!

  • @m1kewithaone : John Fogarty is a master of the 'hook' as well. Hear it in "Wrote a Song" - always thought I heard them singing "rush on, for evermore, rush on for these. . . .". But nooo. . . it's "wrote a song for everyone, wrote a song for peace". Rock on. Long as I Can See the Light

  • I think Harold Camping took this song a little too literally.

  • Best American band ever. No doubt about it. Timeless music.

  • Nice, but it's been taken from VHS tape and cropped.

  • damm thats pretty good band...i like their drum player....old scholl rock!!!

  • This is real music

  • CCR is SO good that they made themselves, and Lead Belly incredibly famous.

  • I love the song, Creedence foreve

  • he's talking about 2012

  • @washington95 : I agree wholeheartedly about the am radio length songs of Creedence. That said, look for 'Walk on the Water', or long versions of 'Heard it through the Grapevine' or 'Susie Q'; also 'Effigy', 'Graveyard Train', and one of my favorites 'Wrote a Song'. They were absolutely a roots-rock bluesin' band with so much individual and collective talent, you wonder how they played together as long as they did. Vietnam? Try 'Long as I can see the Light'. Peace Brothers

  • @arhatyellow yah, all that and what about 'pagan baby ? am i the only one that liked that? no, i can't believe that. well put a spell on you edged out susie q as my favorite, and i forgot 'effigy' ! and 'graveyard train'? i gotta go find that one, i had all their albums i've just forgotten a lot of those songs. i still play 'put a spell on you' to this day!

  • Excelente !!! Sin duda los mejores de Siempre....Saludos

  • @hacelofacil CONCUERDO¡¡ LO MEJOR DE LA HISTORIA LEJOS¡¡

  • To you who think this is faked/dubbed: way back when recording shit especially on tape with your VCR was not that high quality. Almost like the lag you get on a webcam.

  • @searchoverload8 Also, Creedence was known for performing their songs live exactly as they were recorded. That's why you might think they're lipsyncing here.

  • Awesome song. Stu Cook and Tom Fogerty playing each other's instruments? Interesting. Hmmm. Great stuff...

  • All of CCR's songs seem to be like 2-21/2 minutes. I wish they were like 3 hours a piece.

  • @washington95 you try keep on chooglin', graveyard train, grapevine, ramble tamble, the suzy q album version... :)

  • CCR presented by johnny cash..it's fucking awesome

  • Great GI grunt song during Vietnam especially before a major operation...

  • I wonder if John always played it in E (probably downtuned) as the band played in in D? Seems like the best way to play that riff but I wonder why they just didn't all play it in D?

  • crazy motherfuckas!

  • @akisgay94

he´s just concentrating on the music

  • its looks kinda funny, but its still better than these lipsync piece-of-shit-performances

  • Well - in this version is "the bad moon is on the rise" and not the later version

"the bathroom( bedroom)'s on the right - but all makes fun to me - John's a n artist with an unbelievable unique voice and I love all CCR songs !

  • 4 people are deaf

  • the best thing about this vid is johnny cash's voice at the start

  • Does anyone see David Suzuki? Lmao

  • epic hairstyle!!

  • The sound doesnt go with the playing in a lot of older footage. It was live and isnt fake. ~If you cant see it then it just isnt there~ M.M.

  • the best band of all times

  • This is like one of those campy Japanese monster movies. The lips don't agree with the words. I didn't hear the cymbal when Doug hit it at the end of the song. lol

  • This isnt johnny cash tjis is john fogerty

  • @Leon7777Yildrem Thank you, Captain Obvious. They are a guest at the Johnny Cash Show.. A show hosted by Johnny Cash.

  • @Leon7777Yildrem you're pretty slow.

  • it's definately fake, they're acting here, not performing.

  • Heh it's completely dubbed - watch the very end. Both John and Tom playing rhythm while you hear lead notes coming from nowhere.

  • @LSUfreerider I think it's because the audio is out of synch with the video so it appears that way, but it looks live to me.

  • Bad moon rising at this time in Egypt.

  • Man, I love Creedence!!!!

  • I Love CCR

  • Scotty Moore style guitar!!

  • Johnny Cash and CCR.... The honky tonk masters!!!

  • Great song and excellent band. On another point, I have to admit that Johnny Cash's voice is so great, even when he's announcing another band.

  • They look so funny....did they know how strange looking this group was, not a heartbreaker in the bunch, good thing they had money and fame, or these boys were not getting laid, know what I`m sayin`.........

  • I see a great video,

    I hear a great song,

    xD

  • John's voice (and his songs) are unique - thanx!
