Amazing anime. Vicious, bloody anime but so good. The blood and gore and nudity actually helps the messages of the anime sink in, like morality, what it means to be human, and even nature vs nurture.

The gist of the anime: Lucy/Nyu/Kaede is the queen of the next step in human evolution, the Diclonius. They are like humans except for 2 horns and (4 in the anime) invisible arms called vectors. The anime follows Lucy's escape from a military prison and her romance with main character Kouta.

Elfen Lied is one of the saddest animes I've watched.. She was always in pain and being rude by people. Since all that happened she became a killer and thats why she started that. Shes tired of it and she has to do it herself. Thats one thing that she wants to do. Killing is her thing, so if theres haters out there, go screw yourself. This anime is awesome. :]

Elfen Lied is an awesome anime. In my opinion I don't blame Lucy for what she did. Humans treated her so bad so what do you expect. Also the only human who was her real friend Kurama's organazation killed. (ova 10.5) I would have done the same thing. Anyway AWESOME video, AWESOME anime, and AWESOME show!!!!!

Cool, this was a great music video.

Elfen Lied is very bloody and violent....and I LOVE what I've seen so far. It's just that too much of it is kind of disturbing. You had a nice mixture of normal scenes and utter destruction. Excellent.

People always try to compare shows instead of taking them for what they are and all too often don't realize you can have many favorites. Initial D, Fushigi Yuugi, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Ai Yori Aoshi, and many others are at the top of my list along with the ones previously mentioned.
