Hello, good vidéo, i want to buy a macbook pro 13 intel core i7.. but i have a question can w use parallells Desktop 6 in full screen i mean witouth the mac dock at the bottom
@Gilleouplus Yes. You can either run it integrated with OS X (both running like an unique OS) or separated in full screen mode, like another OS running above OS X.
I recommend an SSD and, at least, 4Gb RAM to run Windows 7 smoothly as a virtual machine (VMWare Fusion, Parallels Desktop etc.).
@davidcmcbr When you're running a virtual machine, the read/write on the HD is doubled (two OSes running at the same time). Since an HD is slow, you'll clearly notice slowdowns when openning folders, aplications and usual tasks when your virtual machine is running. A SSD is much better than an HD because it faster and you won't notice any slowdown even when running the virtual machine along with your host OS.
SSD is the future. Today's biggest bottleneck of any computer is the HD.
what is ssd exactly?
I want to buy an macbookpro 15 inch.

@geertzand It's an OCZ Vertex Turbo. It's an old model, not sold anymore. Today, you should buy a Vertex 2 or a Vertex 3.
